There will always be a smile and cries where you go. Life is full of happy and sad experiences. This book of poems by B.P. Gibson and Joe St. Jean goes through a roller coaster of emotions, including mini stories. In the lives of these two poets, there are many exciting and fun-loving moments, but there are also times of anguish and disaster. When you read this book, think to yourself of all the times where you had to fight through life and make things happen on your own. Try to remember your first kiss, your first real relationship and all of its ups and downs. Think back to your childhood and about all those little things you were taught. These moments in time lead you to see in between the lines of each poem. When you dig deep into a poem, it may have its own meaning to you, but every line was a moment in time that the authors lived through. As you go through each poem, you will see how the lives of these two poets could be your own, and quite possibly could be about the things you are going through right this very minute. The titles of the poems are close in context to the meaning, so if youre feeling lost, you may want to read Lost by Joe St. Jean or if youre feeling alone, you may want to turn to Suicide Wave by B.P. Gibson. Enjoy these positive and negative experiences as you relate them to your very own life in Smiles and Cries by B.P. Gibson and Joe St. Jean.

A fun, flip-over picture book for children that reads from both front and back. Smile Cry is an innovative picture book for young kids, showcasing the full emotional range of their formative years. Readers' follow three adorable characters - piglet, bunny and cat - as they react emotionally to a variety of events and circumstances from everyday life. From an 'ate all the pies' smile to an 'ice-cream plopping down cry'; from a 'cosy under blanket smile' to a 'need a band-aid quick cry', children will empathize with the tear-jerking calamity of a popped balloon or lost toy, or feel the smiley warmth of a being tickled. It's the little things that touch the hearts of children the most, and Smile Cry typifies both the small joys and challenges that are the essence of childhood. Younger kids will respond to the soft whimsical illustrations, while older readers will learn more about the range of their emotions - how it's possible to cry with happiness and also smile with trepidation. The clever 'flip book' format means that the 'Smile' story reads from front to back, while the 'Cry' story reads from back to front, with both delicious narratives meeting in the middle. A heartfelt picture book that will be treasured for years, Smile Cry is perfect for ages 3 and upwards.

One Person Makes Us Cry Another Makes Us Smile written by Seema Singh and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017-12-29 with categories.

Every person has a story. It is impossible to hate a person if you get to know his full story. We all have that one person in our lives who made us cry. And, we all have that one person who made us smile again. The person who made us smile matters more than the one who made us cry. This book reminds us a powerful message that it takes just one person to heal us no matter how wounded we are. It has been scientifically proven that we often remember the negative experiences of our life more vividly than that of the positive ones. We have been so accustomed in counting our miseries that we are not able to see the light. This book is all about a collection of the short stories related to common people like us. In an attempt to be like others, the characters in this book end up finding themselves. The first story is about a little boy Tom who is an autistic boy and his father hates him, until Tom's mother meets someone who comes in to heal their lives. The second story is about Naomi who had to give up her baby for an adoption. She blamed herself for the wrong doings of a wicked man, until another woman stepped in to help Naomi in ways she could never have been imagined. The third story is about Anita who not only changed her own life but also brought back the smiles of those surrounding her. The fourth story is about Natalie who always pitied herself because of her weight, until someone came into her life to make her fall in love with herself despite her weight. The stories are different yet the message is the same. It takes just one person to hurt us, until another person steps in to heal us.

It is free to read on the Oxford Academic platform and offered as a free PDF download from OUP and selected open access locations. Research has shown that young babies - well before they form their first bond to a caring adult - enjoy participating in groups and group processes. Babies in Groups examines the consequences of these findings for science, for early education practice and policy, and for adult psychotherapy. The authors report research showing the extensive capacity of preverbal infants for group-communication in all-baby trios and quartets, backed by findings about primate sociability, the social brain, cultural histories, and human evolution. These studies open up new ways of imagining human development as fundamentally group-based. In addition, the authors explore the changes that a group-based vision of infancy could bring to early child education and care. They also show how ignoring group contexts in many clinical traditions can distort descriptions of what happens in therapy, producing such unintended consequences as 'mother-blaming' for the future problems an infant may experience as she or he grows up. Finally, the book's appendix summarises the main forms of evidence which falsify claims that science has proven that an inborn gift for dyadic 'intersubjectivity,' or for one-to-one infant-adult attachments, founds human social development.
