FROM BESTSELLING AUTHOR OF GAY ROMANCE, SAMANTHA CAYTO Book seven in the Alien Blood Wars series What lurks in the dark is not always a monster. Sometimes it's your deepest desire. Willem is a good drone, a consummate pilot and an obedient and deadly warrior. He has sat out the war with Dracul for many years, raising the only hybrid daughter among their kind. For years, he kept that information from the others, but when Will answered the call to arms, his secret came out. Yet there is one more secret that could change Earth forever. Because he is determined to both keep it and help bring the war to an end, he will not risk taking another lover. The problem is that he didn't count on the irresistible temptation of the club's sous chef. Damien's life has been hard. Coming out as gay left him homeless and desperate. If not for the kindness of the strange Stelalux family, he would have ended up living on the streets for years. He loves being a chef and would do anything for the family, now his friends. He didn't plan on falling for one of them, however. The new and compelling Willem tests his resolve to not get involved with any man, and despite his best efforts, he finds himself lured into the man's bed. With new trouble brewing, Will has no choice except to turn to Damien for help. The human is willing to put himself at risk, not only out of gratitude, but also out his growing love for Will.

Smoke Dancing written by Eric L. Gansworth and has been published by MSU Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2004 with Fiction categories.

The power struggle between traditionalists and progressives on a modern-day reservation is at the center of Eric Gansworth's latest work of fiction. Through the characters and their unique "voices," he deftly develops the multiple viewpoints and arguments that currently exist on many reservations. These voices include a traditional chief and a modern-day group of young adults who, as neglected children, banded together in a traditional dance group. The narrative thread that connects these characters uses the metaphor of traditional dance and its relationship to the integrity of Iroquois culture. A number of the dance group have come to work in the growing empire formed by one of their members--selling tax-free cigarettes and gasoline on reservation land. This new economic base alters the balance of power on the reservation. At the center of the conflict is Fiction Tunny, a dancer and developing love interest of a man in the smoke business. She is also the illegitimate daughter of the chief, who refuses to acknowledge her; to admit she exists would be to admit he is not fit for his role of chief. Fiction's resentment of her father and the sometimes archaic nature of his life and government are juxtaposed with the predatory nature of the entrepreneur who begins pursuing her sexually at all costs. Fiction seeks a balance, a path that will ground her identity in tradition while following her ever-changing culture into the future.

"Each day, about 4000 teens smoke a cigarette for the first time. That's nearly 1.5 million youths per year. Nicotine addiction is so powerful that every day about 1000 teens become daily smokers." "A Report of the Surgeon General: How Tobacco Smoke Causes Disease, 2010." Most people do not realize how destructive cigarette smoking really is. Some believe that smoking only damages the lungs - as if that isn't bad enough. They have no idea how destructive smoking can be to the cardiovascular system. Many smokers also seem willing to "take chances" that their organs will not be damaged. This assumption is far from reality. With habitual smoking, the lungs and cardiovascular system will be damaged. Dance of the Cilia explains what happens when "being cool" becomes an addictive illness. Without getting too complicated, the book provides basic medical information on the extensive biological damage to multiple organs caused by smoking. The diseases are explained so they can be understood by those without a medical or science background. Dance of the Cilia provides the reader an invaluable minimedical guide on cancer and major life-threatening diseases of the lungs and cardiovascular system. This book is direct and "in your face" - a reasonably quick and simple read. It gives concise answers to challenging, serious topics: How smoking causes emphysema, chronic bronchitis, high blood pressure, heart disease, atherosclerosis, blood vessel damage, cancer, multiple organ damage, and addiction. How smoking causes chronic inflammation, and how damaging it is to our tissues and organs. How tissues and cells respond to cigarette toxins - and how damaged tissues and cells respond when the smoking stops. Dance of the Cilia is a vital read for teens, young adults, parents - and smokers. For several years, Don Christensen has been an instructor at two community colleges along the Front Range of Colorado. He teaches Anatomy, Physiology, Cadaver Dissection, and Pathophysiology (the study of disease and diagnosis). His constant focus in these disciplines provides considerable opportunity to study - and especially convey to students - the damaging effects of cigarette smoking. Christensen is a graduate of California State University and Palmer College of Chiropractic. Prior to teaching, he practiced as a Doctor of Chiropractic in San Diego, California. His entire career focus has been as a healthcare provider and educator."
