Il veut donc définir l’affirmation heureuse que chaque homme a de soi-même à travers son identité personnelle, ses capacités de dire, de raconter et de se raconter, de s’auto désigner comme auteur de ses actes, de promettre et de se porter sujet d’imputabilité d’un acte bon ou non. La question philosophique de l’identité et la reconnaissance de l’autre nous a interessé dans le but de redonner un sens nouveau au Moi dans la certitude intime d’être soi dans sa conscience morale et de faire un mouvement vers autrui. C’est à moi que le mouvement parti de l’autre acheve sa trajectoire: l’autre me constitue responsable, capable de répondre à sa demande. Le désir humain est ainsi fait et ne se maintient comme désir proprement humain, qu’en doublant son besoin d’une vocation adressée à autrui: à l’autre qui est aussi désir sans issue mais qui, à ce titre peut comprendre mon indigence et la reconnaître. Mon être n’est pas à moi, il me vient de la réponse d’autrui. C’est pourquoi une telle réflexion philosophique est pour nous le lieu d’amener l’homme de notre temps à réaliser sa destinée, à réveiller auprès de lui le sens de l’autre, à aimer son semblable comme soi-même et d’insister surtout sur le fait de prendre conscience de ses capacités de grandes réalisations. Aujourd’hui, notre siècle semble être celui du solipsisme, chacun pense être la seule réalité existante, tout le reste serait illusoire. Le Moi égocentrique veut prendre le primat sur le soi communautaire, chacun veut sauvegarder ses intérêts en oubliant le reste. Il se remarque dans l’évolution de la technique où le sujet pensant est en train de s’exalter en détruisant la nature. Notre but est de s’occuper de la manière de sauvegarder l’identité et l’autonomie de soi d’abord par le principe de cohésion d’un soi qui se dit le même, ensuite, par l’autre en tant qu’il est, lui aussi un soi-même.

Most human action has a technical dimension. This book examines four components of this technical dimension. First, in all actions, various individual, organizational or institutional agents combine actional capabilities with tools, institutions, infrastructure and other elements by means of which they act. Second, the deployment of capabilities and means is permeated by ethical aspirations and hesitancies. Third, all domains of action are affected by these ethical dilemmas. Fourth, the dimensions of the technicity of action are typical of human life in general, and not just a regional or culturally specific phenomenon. In this study, an interdisciplinary approach is adopted to encompass the broad anthropological scope of this study and combine this bigger picture with detailed attention to the socio-historical particularities of action as it plays out in different contexts. Hermeneutics (the philosophical inquiry into the human phenomena of meaning, understanding and interpretation) and social science (as the study of all human affairs) are the two main disciplinary orientations of this book. This study clarifies the technical dimension of the entire spectrum of human action ranging from daily routine to the extreme of violent protest.
