It may be a test planned by God to promote you in life or show His glory to your enemies. Or, a temptation planned by the devil. Though suffering and chaos befall us, they can never quench that inner light of providence (ODonohue, 2008). Indeed, the struggles we embrace in our daily lives can never erode the glory of God on us. He has promised, and He will never fail.

Looking back, I realized we had become a threat to the kingdom of darkness because of our intimacy with the Father. He was certainly not silent through all of this; as satan raised the bar, so did God with blessing upon blessing from heaven. He graciously favored us with an angel visitation, several miraculous healings, a whirlwind, heavenly snow, and more. We learned to enter God's rest no matter the trial, and so can you (Hebrews 4). It's not about the trials, because Jesus said they will come (John 16:33). It's about how you handle the trials as God's intimate friend that makes all the difference. Katie Lopez has dedicated her life to following Jesus Christ. At an early age, an angel saved her life. The supernatural experiences kept following her into adulthood where she and her family have experienced multiple miraculous healings, another angel visitation and more.
