Tak pelak lagi, kisah konflik keras antara anak manusia yang menunggangi pasukan gajah dengan pasukan burung Ababil yang bertebaran di udara dan melempari bebatuan hingga pasukan gajah mampus berkalangtanah dan tak ubahnya ulat belulat yang membusuk. Kedua, betapa menegangkan ketika kita menyoal konstalasi konflik keagamaan kontemporer beserta benturan aliran keagamaan. Sungguh memilukan ketika kita mendengar dan membaca konflik sosial keagamaan antara Myanmar vs Muslim Rohingya, dan Cina versus Muslim Ughur. Tak pelak lagi, konflik aliran keagamaan yang seolah tak berujung pangkal seperti di antaranya antara Sunni dengan Syiah. Namun di dalam ruang konflik agama dan aliran keagamaan tersebut, sesungguhnya tersenandung (including) konflik antar negara serta konflik politik dan pemerintahan. Ketiga, di depan mata di dalam negeri Indonesia tercinta ini, juga mengemuka konflik suku, agama dan ras (SARA) serta perkelahian kelompok suku bangsa yang tidak hanya menegangkan. Akan tetapi, juga menelan banyak nyawa anak manusia dari pihak yang bertikai. Betapa menyeramkan ketika terjadi konflik antara Etnis Dayak sebagai penduduk lokal berhadapan langsung dengan orang Madura sebagai komunitas pendatang di wilayah Kalimantan dan sekitarnya. Tak pelak lagi, ketika meledak konflik SARA di Ambon dan di Poso yang menelan banyak korban material serta nyawa yang melayang sia-sia yang tak terhitung jumlahnya. Akhirnya, tim penulis menawarkan sebuah resolusi konflik dalam perspektif strukturalis Scott yang kemudian disintetiskan dengan perspektif kultural Weberian serta perspektif spiritual Khaldunian. Demikian pula beberapa langkah starategis yang harus dikedepankan sebagai upaya untuk keluar dari aneka kemelut sosial serta upaya penciptaan keadilan hukum.
