Este libro se ocupa del análisis jurídico de toda la casuística conocida por la Agencia Española de Protección de Datos desde 2007 sobre el derecho al olvido y, en particular, del Caso Google vs. AEPD que fue resuelto por el Tribunal de Justicia de la Unión Europea en Sentencia de 13 de mayo de 2014. En esta particular versión litigiosa de David contra Goliat, frente al enarbolamiento de infundados riesgos para el futuro desarrollo tecnológico de la sociedad contemporánea, ha prevalecido la sensibilidad ante una legítima demanda social de garantía del derecho a la protección de datos consagrado en la Carta de Derechos Fundamentales de la Unión Europea.
