By utilizing a relatively unknown natural law of science, we are able to reveal the hidden pattern and divine structure of the Holy Scripture, which, by definition, proves its authenticity. This book is a unique defense of the Bible, and thus by extension that of Christianity, by providing a proof of the veracity of the Word of God in a scientific manner outside the Bible itself, which previously has not been accomplished. The author will demonstrate that the same true natural law of science, the Law of First Digits as described in chapters 2 and 3, when applied to the Holy Scriptures of the Bible, proves the presence of Gods unfathomable intelligence in creating and preserving the truthfulness of His Word. Moreover, this proof extends to the identification of God as the only true God of the universeto the exclusion of all others. That is a very powerful and controversial statement but one that can be backed up. If one proves the entirety of the Scripture as true, then it follows that the God referred to in those same Scriptures is and must be the one true God of the universe.

Illuminating Statistical Analysis Using Scenarios And Simulations written by Jeffrey E. Kottemann and has been published by John Wiley & Sons this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017-03-06 with Mathematics categories.
Features an integrated approach of statistical scenarios and simulations to aid readers in developing key intuitions needed to understand the wide ranging concepts and methods of statistics and inference Illuminating Statistical Analysis Using Scenarios and Simulations presents the basic concepts of statistics and statistical inference using the dual mechanisms of scenarios and simulations. This approach helps readers develop key intuitions and deep understandings of statistical analysis. Scenario-specific sampling simulations depict the results that would be obtained by a very large number of individuals investigating the same scenario, each with their own evidence, while graphical depictions of the simulation results present clear and direct pathways to intuitive methods for statistical inference. These intuitive methods can then be easily linked to traditional formulaic methods, and the author does not simply explain the linkages, but rather provides demonstrations throughout for a broad range of statistical phenomena. In addition, induction and deduction are repeatedly interwoven, which fosters a natural "need to know basis" for ordering the topic coverage. Examining computer simulation results is central to the discussion and provides an illustrative way to (re)discover the properties of sample statistics, the role of chance, and to (re)invent corresponding principles of statistical inference. In addition, the simulation results foreshadow the various mathematical formulas that underlie statistical analysis. In addition, this book: • Features both an intuitive and analytical perspective and includes a broad introduction to the use of Monte Carlo simulation and formulaic methods for statistical analysis • Presents straight-forward coverage of the essentials of basic statistics and ensures proper understanding of key concepts such as sampling distributions, the effects of sample size and variance on uncertainty, analysis of proportion, mean and rank differences, covariance, correlation, and regression • Introduces advanced topics such as Bayesian statistics, data mining, model cross-validation, robust regression, and resampling • Contains numerous example problems in each chapter with detailed solutions as well as an appendix that serves as a manual for constructing simulations quickly and easily using Microsoft® Office Excel® Illuminating Statistical Analysis Using Scenarios and Simulations is an ideal textbook for courses, seminars, and workshops in statistics and statistical inference and is appropriate for self-study as well. The book also serves as a thought-provoking treatise for researchers, scientists, managers, technicians, and others with a keen interest in statistical analysis. Jeffrey E. Kottemann, Ph.D., is Professor in the Perdue School at Salisbury University. Dr. Kottemann has published articles in a wide variety of academic research journals in the fields of business administration, computer science, decision sciences, economics, engineering, information systems, psychology, and public administration. He received his Ph.D. in Systems and Quantitative Methods from the University of Arizona.

Artificial Intelligence in Process Fault Diagnosis A comprehensive guide to the future of process fault diagnosis Automation has revolutionized every aspect of industrial production, from the accumulation of raw materials to quality control inspections. Even process analysis itself has become subject to automated efficiencies, in the form of process fault analyzers, i.e., computer programs capable of analyzing process plant operations to identify faults, improve safety, and enhance productivity. Prohibitive cost and challenges of application have prevented widespread industry adoption of this technology, but recent advances in artificial intelligence promise to place these programs at the center of manufacturing process analysis. Artificial Intelligence in Process Fault Diagnosis brings together insights from data science and machine learning to deliver an effective introduction to these advances and their potential applications. Balancing theory and practice, it walks readers through the process of choosing an ideal diagnostic methodology and the creation of intelligent computer programs. The result promises to place readers at the forefront of this revolution in manufacturing. Artificial Intelligence in Process Fault Diagnosis readers will also find: Coverage of various AI-based diagnostic methodologies elaborated by leading experts Guidance for creating programs that can prevent catastrophic operating disasters, reduce downtime after emergency process shutdowns, and more Comprehensive overview of optimized best practices Artificial Intelligence in Process Fault Diagnosis is ideal for process control engineers, operating engineers working with processing industrial plants, and plant managers and operators throughout the various process industries.

This book is about ethnic diversity in voluntary organizations and seeks to explain whether intergroup contact contributes to the development of generalized trust. It relies on a novel multilevel design and data from Amsterdam in which 40 voluntary organizations and 463 participants have been sampled. Contrary to conventional wisdom, this book argues that cognitive processes are contributing more toward the evaluation of strangers or generalized trust than interethnic contact. Since trusting unknown people is essentially a risky endeavor, this suggests that participants of both association types who report trusting strangers can afford to do so, because they are better educated, have a more positive worldview, and have had fewer negative life experiences. That is to say, they are socially more successful and view their future as more promising. Previous findings are inconclusive since most studies that conclude diversity has led to less generalized trust do not include interethnic contact directly in their analyses. These studies also downplay the importance of cognitive processes, which may shape generalized trust. What is more, people join ethnically diverse civic groups, because they already have more trustful attitudes, rather than learning to trust through interethnic contact. Despite the recent multiculturalist backlash, this book demonstrates that participation in ethno-national organizations does not pose a threat to social cohesion. The analysis in this book serves to build a general theory of trust that moves beyond emphasizing interaction between people who are different from each other, but one that includes the importance of cognition.
