He was born in St. Clair County, Michigan in 1846 and died in Chicago, Illinois in 1913.Being The Autobiography Of A Convict, written anonymously between 1897-1898. The book was edited by Stanley Waterloo (author of "The Story of Ab" and "The Wolf's Long Howl") and published in 1902.
