Decays of the type B [yields] D(*)[bar D](*) can be used to provide a measurement of the parameter sin2[beta] of the Unitarity Triangle that is complementary to that derived from the mode B[sup 0] [yields] J/[psi]K[sub S][sup 0]. Here we report a measurement of the branching fraction and a study of the CP parity content for the decay B[sup 0] [yields] D*[sup +]D*[sup -] with the BABAR detector. With data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 20.7 fb[sup -1] collected at the [Upsilon](4S) resonance during 1999-2000, we determine the branching fraction to be [Beta](B[sup 0] [yields] D*[sup +]D*[sup -]) = (8.0 [+-] 1.6(stat) [+-] 1.2(syst.)) x 10[sup -4]. The measured fraction of the component with odd CP parity is 0.22 [+-] 0.18(stat) [+-] 0.03(syst). Observation of a significant number of candidates in the decay modes B[sup 0] [yields] D*[sup +]D[sup -] and B[sup +] [yields] D*[sup +]D*[sup 0] is reported. All results presented in this note are preliminary.

The e[sup+]e[sup -] annihilation data recorded with the BABAR detector has been used to study B[sup 0] decays to D[sub s][sup (*)+] and D[sup*-] mesons. The production fraction of inclusive D[sub s][sup (*)+] and the corresponding momentum spectra have been determined. Exclusive decays B[sup 0][yields] D[sup*-] D[sub s][sup (*)+] have been identified with a partial reconstruction technique and their branching ratios have been measured. Fully reconstructed B[sup 0] decays in the hadronic modes B[sup 0][yields] D[sup*-][pi][sup+] and B[sup 0][yields] D[sup*-][rho][sup+] have been also studied and the measurement of their absolute branching fractions is reported.

We report on analyses of B[sup -] mesons decaying into D*[sup+][pi][sup -][pi][sup -] and D[sup+][pi][sup -][pi][sup -] final states using 89 million B[sup -] decays collected by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory. Preliminary measurements are given for the inclusive branching fractions for B[sup -][yields] D*[sup+][pi][sup -][pi][sup -] and B[sup -][yields] D*[sup+][pi][sup -][pi][sup -], and for the exclusive branching fractions for B[sup -][yields] D[sub 1](2420)[sup 0][pi][sup -] and B[sup -][yields] D*[sub 2](2460)[sup 0][pi][sup -], where D[sub 1](2420)[sup 0] and D*[sub 2](2460)[sup 0] are the two narrow c[bar u] P-wave states. The ratio[Beta](B[sup -][yields] D*[sub 2](2460)[sup 0][pi][sup -])/[Beta](B[sup -][yields] D[sub 1](2420)[sup 0][pi][sup -]) is measured to be 0.80[+-] 0.07[+-] 0.16.

The B[sup 0][bar B][sup 0] oscillation frequency[Delta] m[sub d] has been measured with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric B factory with different experimental techniques. The discussion here is focused on the recent simultaneous measurement of[Delta] m[sub d] and[tau][sub B[sup 0]] with exclusively reconstructed B[sup 0][yields] D*[sup -][ell][sup+][nu][sub l] decays, based on 23 million B[bar B] pairs collected by BABAR. The measurements of[Delta] m[sub d] with fully reconstructed hadronic decays and with dilepton events are also reviewed. The average BABAR result is[Delta] m[sub d]= 0.500[+-] 0.008[+-] 0.006 ps[sup -1].

The authors present a study of the decays B[sup -] --> D*[sup 0][pi][sup -] and B[sup -] --> D*[sup 0]K[sup -], where the D*[sup 0] decays into D[sup 0][pi][sup 0], with the D[sup 0] reconstructed in the CP eigenstates K[sup -]K[sup +] and [pi][sup -][pi][sup +] and in the (non-CP) channels K[sup -][pi][sup +], K[sup -][pi][sup +][pi][sup +][pi][sup -], and K[sup -][pi][sup +][pi][sup 0]. They use an unbinned maximum likelihood fit to measure the signal yields. Using a sample of about 123 million [Upsilon](4S) decays into B[bar B] pairs, they measure the ratios of decay rates.
