We present measurements of the linear polarization amplitudes and the strong relative phases that describe the flavor-untagged decays B{sub d} → J/[Psi] K* and B{sub s} → J/[Psi][phi] in the transversity basis. We also measure the mean lifetime of the B{sub s} mass eigenstates and the lifetime ratio. The analyses are based on approximately 2.8 fb−1 of data recorded with the D0 detector. From our measurements of the angular parameters we conclude that there is no evidence for a deviation from flavor SU(3) symmetry for these decays and that the factorization assumption is not valid for the B{sub d} → J/[Psi] K* decay.

The authors report the study of the B meson decays B{sup ±} 2!J/[psi][phi]K{sup ±}, B° 2!J/[psi][phi]K° using 433 million of B{bar B} events collected at the [Upsilon](4S) resonance with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II ee− asymmetric-energy collider. They obtain the branching fraction measurements: [Beta](B{sup ±} 2!J[psi][phi]K{sup ±}) = (5.6 {+-} 0.9(stat) {+-} 0.3(sys)) x 10−5, [Beta](B{sup {+-}} 2!J[psi][phi]K°) = (5.4 {+-} 1.2(stat) {+-} 0.4(sys)) x 10−5.

They observe a signal of 51 ± 10 B{sup ±} → J/[psi][pi]{sup ±} events and determine the ratio [Beta]({sup {+-}} → J/[psi][pi]{sup {+-}})/[Beta](B{sup {+-}} → J/[psi]K{sup {+-}}) to be [3.91 {+-} 0.78(stat.) {+-} 0.19(syst.)]%. The CP-violating charge asymmetries for the B{sup {+-}} → J/[psi][pi]{sup {+-}} and B{sup {+-}} → J/[psi]{sup {+-}}K{sup {+-}} decays are determined to be [Alpha]{sub {pi}} = 0.01 {+-} 0.22(stat.) {+-} 0.01(syst.) and [Alpha]{sub K} = 0.003 {+-} 0.030(stat.) {+-} 0.004(syst.).

We have measured the time-dependent decay rate for the process B [yields] J/[psi] K*[sup 0](892) in a sample of about 88 million [Upsilon](4S) [yields] B[bar B] decays collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory at SLAC. In this sample we study flavor-tagged events in which one neutral B meson is reconstructed in the J/[psi]K*[sup 0] or J/[psi] [bar K]*[sup 0] final state. We measure the coefficients of the cosine and sine terms in the time-dependent asymmetries for J/[psi]K*[sup 0] and J/[psi][bar K]*[sup 0], find them to be consistent with the Standard Model expectations, and set upper limits at 90% C.L. on the decay amplitude ratios A([bar B][sup 0] [yields] J/[psi]K*[sup 0])/A(B[sup 0] [yields] J/[psi]K*[sup 0])
