This book addresses the buying organizations' perspective on risks, relationships and success factors for accomplishing a successful IT Outsourcing (ITO). Mixed method approach is employed in this study, including qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys uncovering the intricated factors that influence the outsourcing relationship, by identifying the disruptions faced by professionals engaged in an outsourcing activity and the factors necessary to guarantee the success of outsourcing arrangement. This study also focuses on identifying the root causes of challenges between buyer-supplier outsourcing partnership. With the findings gathered from the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, recommendations are summarized to mitigate the identified risks, strategic solutions, advantages of outsourcing and coping measure to maintaining a successful outsourcing relationship. This research aims to contribute to the enhancement of collaboration and strategic alignment between stakeholders engaged in outsourcing.
