Abschließend soll die Frage beantwortet werden, welche Rolle die Schulsozialarbeit in der Krisenintervention mit suizidalen Jugendlichen spielt. Welche Handlungsmöglichkeiten gibt es und wo ist die Grenze der Schulsozialarbeit erreicht? Etwa alle 17 Stunden nimmt sich ein*e Jugendliche*r in Deutschland das Leben. Allein im Jahr 2018 waren das 517 junge Menschen im Alter von 15 bis 24 Jahren. Damit steht der Suizid an zweiter Stelle, wenn man die Todesursachen von Jugendlichen vergleicht. Aber Suizidalität muss nicht immer tödlich enden, denn 14,4 % der 14 bis 15-jährigen Schüler*innen in Deutschland hatten schon einmal Suizidgedanken. Diese Zahlen zeigen, wie groß das Ausmaß dieser Problematik ist. Mit der Veränderung der jugendlichen Lebenswelten steht die Schulsozialarbeit vor neuen Herausforderungen und gewinnt mehr und mehr an Bedeutung. Als zentraler Lebensort von Kindern und Jugendlichen steht die Schule – und damit auch die Schulsozialarbeit – in der Pflicht, Krisen und Gefährdungen, beispielsweise durch Suizidalität, wahrzunehmen und bei Bedarf zu intervenieren. Doch wie geht Schulsozialarbeit mit dem Thema Suizid um? Helfen kann hierbei das Konzept der Krisenintervention, welches bereits jahrzehntelang im Einsatz ist – auch in der Schulsozialarbeit. Sie liefert Strukturen und Handlungsprinzipien, um konstruktiv Krisen zu lösen. Auch im Umgang mit suizidalem Verhalten gibt es praktische Konzepte und Handlungsanweisungen. Aber in welcher Position steht die Schulsozialarbeit in der Krisenintervention mit suizidalen Schüler*innen? Wieviel Verantwortung kann und muss die Schulsozialarbeit hier tragen?
