Debunking Jonathan Cahn - 2: The Errors in The Dragon's Prophecy, aims to provide a critical examination of Cahn's arguments and assumptions. It is not an attack on Cahn as a person but a rigorous exploration of his claims, their alignment with biblical teachings, and their implications for Christian faith and understanding. As Christians, we are called to "test everything; hold fast to what is good" (1 Thessalonians 5:21), a principle that applies to prophetic interpretations as much as any other aspect of faith. In this book, we will carefully dissect the themes, arguments, and assumptions presented in The Dragon's Prophecy. Chapters will explore the methodology and epistemology underpinning Cahn's work, the logical fallacies present in his arguments, and the broader theological implications of his claims. Additionally, we will consider the psychological and cultural factors that may influence Cahn's perspectives, including the historical trauma of the Jewish people and the challenges of interpreting scripture in the context of ongoing geopolitical conflicts.

The Branch written by Preston T. Massey and has been published by Wipf and Stock Publishers this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2018-07-24 with Religion categories.
The thesis of the book may be stated simply: it is an argument based upon the four prophetic texts of Jer 23:5; Zech 3:8; 6:12; and Isa 4:2 as a foundational pattern for the four Gospels. These four prophetic texts, it will be argued, mention a King Branch, a Servant Branch, a Man/Priest Branch, and a Lord God Branch. This study seeks to show how Matthew presents Jesus as the King Branch, Mark as the Servant Branch, Luke as the Priest/Man Branch, and John as the Lord God Branch. Consideration will also be given to explore the ramification of the four living Beings as described in Rev 4:6–7. Given the sum total of this sequence of literary facts, the conclusion of this book will raise a number of possible implications. One of these implications will offer the conclusion that the four evangelists could not have written their four Gospels solely on their own human unaided efforts.

Was the Hebrew Prophet Jonah a real or fictional person? If real, when did he live? Who were his contemporaries? Where did he grow up? How long did he live? What was he like? Is the biblical book truth or fiction? Can we know more about him than the forty-eight-verse account in the biblical Book of Jonah, one verse in 2 Kings, and three short New Testament references? To what extent are contemporary assessments of him as being "the runaway prophet" accurate? And what really happened at Nineveh and in the aftermath? RETHINKING JONAH is subdivided into four volumes that build on each other, as follows: Volume 1: Convergence. This first volume launches into the inference-based historical reconstruction resulting in convergence on the ninth-century BC time frame. Scribes, scrolls, cliffs, caves, and skulls-prepare to be amazed! Volume 2: The Boy Prophet. This second volume reveals that Jonah is "hidden in plain sight" in 2 Kings and reconstructs the first part of his life from his miraculous birth in the spring of 850 BC to his first resurrection in 849 BC to him drowning to death at sea in 826 BC. Volume 3: Two Scrolls, Not One. This third volume picks up with Jonah's second resurrection in 826 BC reveals that Jonah was originally published as two scrolls, not one, explains why Nineveh repented in 824 BC and reconstructs Jonah's third resurrection in 799 BC. Volume 4: Mysteries Unveiled. This fourth volume synthesizes the entire historical reconstruction including an in-depth look at the sign of Jonah and the Jonah-Israel super-sign typology that Jonah's life is a typological map of the history of Israel-past, present, and future.

International Development Law written by Rumu Sarkar and has been published by Springer Nature this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2020-03-26 with Law categories.
This book describes how international development works, its shortcomings, its theoretical and practical foundations, along with prescriptions for the future. International Development Law provides the reader with new perspectives on the origins of global poverty, identifies legal impediments to sustainable economic growth, and provides a better understanding of the challenges faced by the international community in resolving global poverty issues. The text is structured into two basic parts: the first part deals with the theoretical and philosophic foundations of the subject, and the second part sets forth issues relating to the international financial architecture, namely, international borrowing practices, privatization, and emerging economies. In particular, the book provides new, innovative analysis on corruption as an impediment to sustainable development. The three interlocking facets of corruption are examined: transnational organized crime, Islamic-based international terrorism, and corruption within emerging economies and the international banking system. Thus fresh new analysis adds depth and clarity to a field that heretofore has been scattered and superficial. Finally, the “right to development” within the international human rights discourse is critically reviewed, particularly in light of new jurisprudence emerging from the African context. This book offers a fresh, new and balanced legal perspective on the development process. The text has been rigorously researched and has many practical facets based on the author’s professional experience within the international development field. It is an invaluable research and teaching tool since it takes a multidisciplinary approach to putting complex issues, legal trends and political questions into a clear, new perspective that is highly analytical as well as accessible to the reader. The author's elegant legal prose is both powerful and persuasive.
Trump And The Protestant Reaction To Make America Great Again

Trump And The Protestant Reaction To Make America Great Again written by Matthew Rowley and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2020-11-01 with History categories.
This book explores how polarised interpretations of America’s past influence the present and vice versa. A focus on competing Protestant reactions to President Trump’s ‘Make America Great Again’ slogan evidences a fundamental divide over how America should remember historical racism, sexism and exploitation. Additionally, these Protestants disagree over how the past influences present injustice and equality. The 2020 killing of George Floyd forced these rival histories into the open. Rowley proposes that recovering a complex view of the past, confessing the bad and embracing the good, might help Americans have a shared memory that can bridge polarisation and work to secure justice and equality. An accessible and timely book, this is essential reading for those concerned with the vexed relationship of religion and politics in the United States, including students and scholars in the fields of Protestantism, history, political science, religious studies and sociology.
