Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2020 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Familienerziehung, Note: 1,3, Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Jugendliche sehen sich in ihrer besonderen Lebensphase mit vielen Veränderungen und Herausforderungen konfrontiert. Infolgedessen kann es bei der Auseinandersetzung mit diesen Veränderungen zu einigen Krisen und damit zur Suche nach Hilfe kommen. Daher soll genau für diese Zielgruppe untersucht werden, inwieweit Angebote der Online-Beratung eine relevante Möglichkeit für sie darstellen können. Ein weiterer Grund, weshalb sich diese Arbeit mit Jugendlichen beschäftigt, liegt in deren hohen Medienaffinität, wodurch sie womöglich zur Hauptzielgruppe der Online-Beratung gehören. Die JIM-Studie aus dem Jahre 2017 ergab in diesem Zusammenhang, dass ganze 93% von 1.200 befragten 12-19-Jährigen sich täglich mit ihren Smartphones beschäftigen und 89% sich täglich im Internet aufhalten. Abgesehen von dieser Zielgruppe steigen die Zahlen der Internetnutzer generell immer weiter, wodurch die verändernden Kommunikations- und Informationsmöglichkeiten auch Einfluss auf die Beratungswelt und deren Setting haben. Durch die innovativen Wege und Methoden der Online-Beratung sollen die vorherrschenden Face-to-Face Beratungen unterstützt und „abgepuffert“ werden. Doch inwieweit kann das Online-Setting diesen Ansprüchen in Bezug auf jugendliche Ratsuchenden gerecht werden? Bei der Online-Beratung handelt es sich somit um ein neueres Feld der Beratung, welches sich in den letzten Jahren auch im europäischen Raum zu einer weit verbreiteten und ausdifferenzierten Praxis entwickelt hat, welche deutliche Unterschiede zu der traditionellen Face-to-Face Beratung aufzeigt. Die Spezifika sind einmalig und sollen daher genau untersucht werden. Mit den zuvor aufgeführten Merkmalen der systemischen Beratung soll geprüft werden, ob diese Merkmale sich in dem Online-Setting anwenden lassen. Anschließend wird versucht, anhand möglicher Vor- und Nachteile der Online-Beratung die Forschungsfrage nach der Relevanz für Jugendliche abzuleiten. Vor allem aufgrund der aktuellen Corona-Krise und den damit einhergehenden Einschränkungen, durch das Einhalten physischer Distanz, werden Berater mit der dringenden Notwendigkeit konfrontiert, auf anderen Wegen mit den Ratsuchenden in Kontakt zu treten. Daher wird am Ende dieser Arbeit ein Fazit der aufgeführten Untersuchung gezogen, wobei ein möglicher Ausblick für die systemische Online-Beratung entworfen wird.

Eine der bemerkenswertesten Entwicklungen in diesem Zusammenhang ist die Online-Beratung, die sich als bedeutende Ressource für Menschen auf der Suche nach Unterstützung in verschiedensten Lebenslagen etabliert hat. In dieser Arbeit wird ein genauer Blick auf die Online-Beratung in Amerika geworfen, insbesondere auf kostenlose und kostenpflichtige Beratungsangebote. Ziel ist es, die Vielfalt dieser Online-Beratungsformate zu beleuchten und mit vergleichbaren Diensten im deutschsprachigen Raum in Beziehung zu setzen. Der erste Abschnitt dieser Arbeit widmet sich der Online-Beratung in Amerika. Hierbei wird zunächst auf kostenlose Beratungsdienste eingegangen, wobei insbesondere Teen line hervorgehoben wird. Es werden sowohl die verschiedenen Angebote für Jugendliche als auch für Eltern betrachtet, zusätzlich zu den Verfahren der Weitervermittlung und den Qualitätskriterien solcher Dienste. Im Anschluss wird die kostenpflichtige Online-Beratung thematisiert, wobei Mentoria als herausragendes Beispiel betrachtet wird. Hier werden die angebotenen Dienste, die Beratungskräfte, die Kosten und die Qualitätskriterien analysiert. Der dritte Abschnitt dieser Arbeit stellt eine Gegenüberstellung zwischen der Online-Beratung in Amerika und vergleichbaren Diensten im deutschsprachigen Raum dar. Dabei liegt der Fokus auf der Beratung für Jugendliche und professioneller Beratung. Hierbei werden Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede hinsichtlich der Angebotsvielfalt und der Qualitätsstandards herausgearbeitet. Abschließend fasst das Fazit die wichtigsten Erkenntnisse dieser Untersuchung zusammen und zieht Schlussfolgerungen hinsichtlich der Online-Beratung in verschiedenen geografischen Regionen. Diese Arbeit bietet somit einen umfassenden Einblick in die Welt der Online-Beratung, deren Vielfalt und Relevanz für Menschen auf der Suche nach Unterstützung und Beratung in der digitalen Ära.
