Systems Analysis And Synthesis written by Barry Dwyer and has been published by Morgan Kaufmann this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2016-03-23 with Computers categories.

Systems Analysis and Synthesis: Bridging Computer Science and Information Technology presents several new graph-theoretical methods that relate system design to core computer science concepts, and enable correct systems to be synthesized from specifications. Based on material refined in the author’s university courses, the book has immediate applicability for working system engineers or recent graduates who understand computer technology, but have the unfamiliar task of applying their knowledge to a real business problem. Starting with a comparison of synthesis and analysis, the book explains the fundamental building blocks of systems-atoms and events-and takes a graph-theoretical approach to database design to encourage a well-designed schema. The author explains how database systems work-useful both when working with a commercial database management system and when hand-crafting data structures-and how events control the way data flows through a system. Later chapters deal with system dynamics and modelling, rule-based systems, user psychology, and project management, to round out readers’ ability to understand and solve business problems. Bridges computer science theory with practical business problems to lead readers from requirements to a working system without error or backtracking Explains use-definition analysis to derive process graphs and avoid large-scale designs that don’t quite work Demonstrates functional dependency graphs to allow databases to be designed without painful iteration Includes chapters on system dynamics and modeling, rule-based systems, user psychology, and project management

Singular time-delay systems are very suitable to describe a lot of practical systems such as manufacturing systems, networked control systems, power systems and electrical circuits. Thus, the past two decades have witnessed a significant progress on the theory of singular time-delay systems, and many fundamental and important topics have been successfully investigated including stability analysis, stabilization, guaranteed cost control, filtering, observer design, sliding mode control and so on. The main objective of this book is to present the latest developments and references in the analysis and synthesis of singular time-delay systems with or without Markov jumping parameters in a unified framework. The materials adopted in this book are mainly based on research results of the authors. This book will be of interest to academic researchers working in singular systems, time-delay systems and Markov jump systems and to graduate students interested in systems and control theory.

Linear Dynamical Quantum Systems written by Hendra I Nurdin and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017-05-11 with Technology & Engineering categories.

This monograph provides an in-depth treatment of the class of linear-dynamical quantum systems. The monograph presents a detailed account of the mathematical modeling of these systems using linear algebra and quantum stochastic calculus as the main tools for a treatment that emphasizes a system-theoretic point of view and the control-theoretic formulations of quantum versions of familiar problems from the classical (non-quantum) setting, including estimation and filtering, realization theory, and feedback control. Both measurement-based feedback control (i.e., feedback control by a classical system involving a continuous-time measurement process) and coherent feedback control (i.e., feedback control by another quantum system without the intervention of any measurements in the feedback loop) are treated. Researchers and graduates studying systems and control theory, quantum probability and stochastics or stochastic control whether from backgrounds in mechanical or electrical engineering or applied mathematics will find this book to be a valuable treatment of the control of an important class of quantum systems. The material presented here will also interest physicists working in optics, quantum optics, quantum information theory and other quantum-physical disciplines.

Networked Non-linear Stochastic Time-Varying Systems: Analysis and Synthesis copes with the filter design, fault estimation and reliable control problems for different classes of nonlinear stochastic time-varying systems with network-enhanced complexities. Divided into three parts, the book discusses the finite-horizon filtering, fault estimation and reliable control, and randomly occurring nonlinearities/uncertainties followed by designing of distributed state and fault estimators, and distributed filters. The third part includes problems of variance-constrained H∞ state estimation, partial-nodes-based state estimation and recursive filtering for nonlinear time-varying complex networks with randomly varying topologies, and random coupling strengths. Offers a comprehensive treatment of the topics related to Networked Nonlinear Stochastic Time-Varying Systems with rigorous math foundation and derivation Unifies existing and emerging concepts concerning control/filtering/estimation and distributed filtering Provides a series of latest results by drawing on the conventional theories of systems science, control engineering and signal processing Deal with practical engineering problems such as event triggered H∞ filtering, non-fragile distributed estimation, recursive filtering, set-membership filtering Demonstrates illustrative examples in each chapter to verify the correctness of the proposed results This book is aimed at engineers, mathematicians, scientists, and upper-level students in the fields of control engineering, signal processing, networked control systems, robotics, data analysis, and automation.

Sampled Data Control Systems written by Jürgen Ackermann and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012-12-06 with Technology & Engineering categories.

The first German edition of this book appeared in 1972, and in Polish translation in 1976. It covered the analysis and synthesis of sampled-data systems. The second German edition of 1983 ex tended the scope to design, in particular design for robustness of control system properties with respect to uncertainty of plant parameters. This book is a revised translation of the second Ger man edition. The revisions concern primarily a new treatment of the finite effect sequences and the use of nice numerical proper ties of Hessenberg forms. The introduction describes examples of sampled-data systems, in particular digital controllers, and analyzes the sampler and hold; also some design aspects are introduced. Chapter 2 reviews the modelling and analysis of continuous systems. Pole shifting is formulated as an affine mapping, here some n~w material on fixing some eigenvalues or some gains in a design step is included. Chapter 3 treats the analysis of sampled-data systems by state space and z-transform methods. This includes sections on inter sampling behavior, time-delay systems, absolute stability and non synchronous sampling. Chapter 4 treats controllability and reach ability of discrete-time systems, controllability regions for con strained inputs and the choice of the sampling interval primarily under controllability aspects. Chapter 5 deals with observability and constructability both from the discrete and continuous plant output. Full and reduced order observers are treated as well as disturbance observers.
