Sie entspricht den Niveaus B1 bis C1/ C2 des Gemeinsamen Europaischen Referenzrahmens. Die Ubungsgrammatik setzt Schwerpunkte auf die Wortstellung und Informationsstruktur, die Verwendung der turkischen "Zeitformen", die Wiedergabe deutscher Modalverben, die ausfuhrliche Beschreibung von Kausativ, Passiv und Reflexiv sowie von Relativ-, Subjekt- und Erganzungssatzen, die Beschreibung der Adverbialsatze und die Suffix- und Satzgliedbestimmung. Neben den Erklarungen zur Grammatik gibt es zahlreiche authentische Textbeispiele mit Ubersetzung, darunter schon ab Kapitel 1 auch Texte, die Nebensatze enthalten. Bei einigen sind Vokabel- und Ubersetzungshilfen gegeben, andere sind bei der Ubungsstellung nach "richtig" oder "falsch" einzuordnen, oder Nebensatze sind ausgegliedert und sollen an der passenden Stelle in den Text eingefugt werden. Da es bereits ein breites Angebot an turkischer Literatur in zweisprachigen Ausgaben oder mit Vokabelhilfen gibt, enthalt diese Ubungsgrammatik nur wenige ausgewahlte Beispiele aus der Belletristik, dafur aber sehr viele aus turkischen Tageszeitungen. "Turkisch fur Fortgeschrittene" enthalt zudem eine Ubersicht uber die Adverbialsatze, eine Suffixliste, den Losungsschlussel sowie ein Sachregister.
