This is a story about a modern day hunter that is hunting in a strange area, even though he hunted the Black Hills for over thirty years. During this hunt, he comes across burnt foundations and 5 graves. These stones have his relation names on them with the date of death all on the same day. He finds a skeleton nearby that he uncovers and says, "If only these bones could talk!" It goes back to 1866 through what happens, causing these deaths. It goes to 1877 and tells how the Davey is adopted. It follows the lives through the Deadwood gold discovery days. He and Russ have a ranch partnership and the story shows problems and events involved in ranching, and Indian problems. Many things happen, building friendships, also facing perils in those days. It explains the deaths of the family and finally uncovers the murderous deed and those responsible. It's based on historical facts, no one is written about without their permission. If it does cover anything or anyone, it is unintentional. I have written this book based on Christian background, without any swearing or sex, so it is readable for all ages.

At Senegal’s House of Slaves, Barack Obama’s presidential visit renewed debate about authenticity, belonging, and the myth of return—not only for the president, but also for the slave fort itself. At the African Burial Ground National Monument in New York, up to ten thousand slave decedents lie buried beneath the area around Wall Street, which some of them helped to build and maintain. Their likely descendants, whose activism produced the monument located at that burial site, now occupy its margins. The Bench by the Road slave memorial at Sullivan’s Isle near Charleston reflects the region’s centrality in slavery’s legacy, a legacy made explicit when the murder of nine black parishioners by a white supremacist led to the removal of the Confederate flag from the state’s capitol grounds. Helena Woodard considers whether the historical slave sites that have been commemorated in the global community represent significant progress for the black community or are simply an unforgiving mirror of the present. In Slave Sites on Display: Reflecting Slavery’s Legacy through Contemporary “Flash” Moments, Woodard examines how select modern-day slave sites can be understood as contemporary “flash” moments: specific circumstances and/or seminal events that bind the past to the present. The Black Arts Movement was sparked by the Civil Rights movement and the urge to produce and revitalize functional, realistic, and holistic symbols to express African American creativity. When Larry Neal began his quest for a new dramatic form to epitomize African American self-determination he laid the foundation upon which his friends and compatriots-Amiri Baraka and Charles Fuller-would build. Expressing their individual protests through their writings, these artists soon united in their attack against Eurocentrism, which traditionally minimized or neglected the roles played by Africans and African Americans on the world stage. Their writings signaled a radical change in the form and content of African American writing, particularly drama.
