Buku berjudul “Teka-Teki Asyik Untuk Siswa SD/MI Kelas 2” ini ditulis di tengah masa pandemi Covid 19. Buku ini hadir sebagai salah satu alternatif suguhan bahan belajar mandiri siswa di rumah (study at home). Secara teori, buku ini merupakan kumpulan lembar kegiatan siswa (LKS) atau student woorksheeet. Teka-teki yang ada di dalam buku ini terdiri dari teka-teki silang (TTS), teka-teki matematika, pesan rahasia, dan mencari kata. Semua materi soal dalam keempat bentuk teka-teki tersebut disusun berdasarkan Buku Tematik Terpadu Kurikulum 2013 Edisi Revisi 2017. Oleh karenanya, buku ini bisa digunakan oleh para guru sebagai bahan ajar, media pembelajaran, atau materi tes tulis. Khusus TTS, kami memberikan porsi paling banyak dan menjadi suguhan utama buku ini. Alasannya, TTS lah jenis teka-teki yang paling mampu mengcover banyak materi secara tematik integratif. Selain guru, orangtua yang ingin memberi suplemen pendukung belajar mandiri bagi anak-anaknya layak menjadikan buku ini sebagai pilihan. Kami berusaha seoptimal mungkin membuat buku ini mudah dipahami, asyik digunakan untuk belajar, dam menyenangkan untuk dikerjakan secara mandiri oleh anak usia kelas II SD/MI. Pada setiap teka-teki, telah dicantumkan informasi mengenai tema dan subtema. Informasi ini penting diketahui oleh siswa agar mereka tahu, tema dan materi apa yang mereka kerjakan. Siswa disarankan mengerjakan tekateki di buku ini secara urut dan tuntas. Apabila mendapati kesulitan, mereka disarankan utuk berkonsultasi kepada orangtua atau guru. Urutan tema dan materi dalam buku ini merupakan duplikasi dari buku paket standar nasional. Model pengerjaan yang urut dan tuntas memungkinkan siswa mencapai ketuntasan belajar yang paripurna. Namun demikian, tentu saja saran di atas tidak bersifat mutlak dan harus diikuti. Beberapa anak bisa saja mampu mengerjakan teka-teki yang materinya belum mereka dapatkan di sekolah dan memilih teka-teki secara acak sesuka hatinya. Dengan demikian, pada akhirnya kami sepenuhnya menyerahkan cara dan metode memanfaatkan buku ini kepada guru, orangtua, dan anak.
