Tras un primer capítulo en donde se intruduce al cálculo tensorial, se estudia el estado elástico de un punto (capítulos 2, 3, 4 y 5). En el capítulo 6 se resuelven dos problemas clásicos de la elasticidad: la viga en voladizo con carga en el extremo libre y la torsión de cilindros rectos. Los dos últimos capítulos se dedican, respectivamente, al estudio de la plasticidad y de los métodos energéticos. En concreto, el índice es el siguiente: 1. Introducción al cálculo tensorial 2.
