Arthur Conan DOYLE, born in 1859 and died in 1930, is a Scottish writer, famous for his novels starring detective Sherlock Holmes, considered a major innovation of the crime novel. This prolific writer has also worked in the field of science fiction, historical novels, plays and poetry. He studied medicine from 1876 to 1881. He is agnostic, imbued with skepticism.
