The aliens want Maisie to attend a special college about 80,000 light years away. However very little is really explained till she arrives. Unexpectedly the Arch Chancellor wants her to help solve a mystery. Anyone can suggest corrections and there will be free updated eBook any time there is a revised edition. "The Journeyman's Talent" and "Master's Talent" are written and scheduled for release. "The Solar Alliance" is more like a thriller and covers the parallel events on Earth during Maisie's progression from Apprentice to Master.
