"The Bible gives the first and only true account of the origin of mankind. It is the only book containing an accurate record of the progress of man toward civilization, and it is the indispensable reference of all searchers after the real facts of the birth of humanity and its progress toward the civilization of today; beginning with his creation, it is the only authentic record of man; authentic because it is first hand, not a copy of something else or a scientific or literary review, but a dispassionate record of man's creation and progress, untrimmed, unshaped and unvarnished, to suit prejudice. It would not be a complete record if it did not show with the rest of them the origin of the black man and "Woe for all these pinnacle thieves"—it shows that he, the "black man" is the "father of civilization."" James Morris Webb (1878-1940) was an American scholar and preacher.

Differentiated book- It has a historical context with research of the time-This book contains a historical context, where past events or the study and narration of these events are examined. The historical context refers to the circumstances and incidents surrounding an event. This context is formed by everything that, in some way, influences the event when it happens. A fact is always tied to its time: that is, to its time. Therefore, when analyzing events that took place tens, hundreds or thousands of years ago, it is essential to know the historical context to understand them. Otherwise, we would be analyzing and judging what happened in a totally different era with a current perspective.James Morris Webb, born in 1878 in Tennessee and died in 1940, is an American reverend. He delivered a speech in 1921, predicting that a charismatic leader would be proclaimed king of a great African power and would also be the incarnation of the African God. In 1930, Tafari Makonnen was crowned king of Ethiopia (under the name of Hailé Sélassié I er), so this speech became for some a prophecy that is at the origin of the Rastafari movement. In 1924, Marcus Garvey, a black leader, takes up a prayer from Webb's speech ("Look towards Africa, where a black king will be crowned, who will lead blacks to their rescue"). That is why this discourse and this role of prophet are often mistakenly attributed to him.

In his profoundly influential work, James Morris Webb argues that the black man was the father of civilization, born in the land of Egypt, and that the different branches of science and art were simply transmitted to other races, which, as the ages have rolled by have only been enlarged, and to some extent improved upon. A seminal text, The Black Man was widely read within the Garvey Movement, the Rastafarians, and other early African identity and Black Nationalist groups.

Ben Ammi Ben Israel written by Michael Miller and has been published by Bloomsbury Publishing this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2023-07-27 with Religion categories.

This text introduces Ben Ammi, the leader and theologian of the African Hebrew Israelite community, as a systematic thinker and theologian. It examines his many books and speeches in order to provide a comprehensive introduction to his thought in the context of both African American and Jewish contemporaries and precursors. Divided into three thematic sections, History, Law, and Language, the text introduces Ben Ammi's understanding of the nature of God, the responsibilities of the human, and the narrative of history. Ben Ammi was a deeply spiritual but also remarkably modern thinker who blended scientific thought into his evolving socio-theology, while seeking to remove religion from the realm of mythology. The book evaluates how Ben Ammi's theology is one bound to concepts of humility and learning how to go with the grain of the natural world in order to find humanity's true center as a part of nature.
