Fehler k nnen aber auch schwer zu erkennen sein, wenn es zum Beispiel um die richtige Linienwahl in Kurven oder den Bremspunkt geht. Die Datenaufzeichnung bietet neben der Fahrerausbildung noch weitere M glichkeiten, gerade in der Entwicklungsphase eines Fahrzeugs. Mit der Aufzeichnung von Motor- und Fahrwerksdaten k nnen zum Beispiel Fehler und Verbesserungspotential im Setup gefunden werden. Im Spitzensport werden dazu ber 200 Signale gemessen, bertragen, gespeichert und ausgewertet. So kann zum Beispiel der Verlauf der Reifentemperatur auf der Rennstrecke in Abh ngigkeit zur Spureinstellung gesetzt werden. Nach wenigen Runden im freien Training k nnen Renningenieure dann nur anhand der Daten das optimale Fahrzeugsetup und eine damit maximal m gliche Rundenzeit errechnen.
