We are living in a time where there are many different churches, teaching many different doctrines and beliefs on what is truth. They certainly can't all be right. This creates much confusion among the people. But would true Christianity cause such confusion? Would true Christians tear each other apart? The Bible teaches about there being unity among the believers, but there doesn't seem to be much unity among Christianity today. Could the problem be that many professing Christians may not be Christians at all? The devil has worked his way into the churches and he is tearing the church apart from within it members. Will we stand up and be counted for Christ? Or will we continually let the church be molded to fit in with the world views?

Nearly forty years ago, Ralph Martin’s bestselling A Crisis of Truth exposed the damaging trends in Catholic teaching and preaching that, combined with attacks from secular society, threatened the mission and life of the Catholic Church. While much has been done to counter false teaching over the last four decades, today the Church faces even more insidious threats—from outside and within. In A Church in Crisis: Pathways Forward, Martin offers a detailed look at the growing hostility to the Catholic Church and its teaching. With copious evidence, Martin uncovers the forces working to undermine the Body of Christ and offers hope to those looking for clarity. A Church in Crisis covers: -polarization in the Church caused by ambiguous teachings -initiatives that accommodate the culture without calling for conversion -Vatican-sponsored partnerships with organizations that actively contradict the teaching of the Catholic Church -and the recycling of theological errors long settled by Vatican II, Pope St. John Paul II, and Pope Benedict XVI. Powerfully written, A Church in Crisis reminds all readers to heed Jesus’ express command not to lead His children astray. With ample resources to encourage readers, Ralph Martin provides the solid foundation of Catholic teaching—both Scripture and Tradition—to fortify Catholics against the errors that threaten us from all directions.

I will discuss why there is so much confusion in the churches today. People are searching for something in the church that they can depend on and with the confusion in the churches they have a hard time finding the truth that the Bible actually teaches. There are a lot things that are taught in the churches from denomination to denomination. They do not agree on the things which the Bible is teaching. It would help if we would just teach what the Bible actually teaches then we could understand the things as God has given them to us. I will go into detail on what the Bible teaches in many circumstances and show you according to the Word of God what the Bible teaches about it. For example if we say that we went to church but we as Christians are the church, then, how can we say that we went to church. I will discuss that in detail and show you how that we cannot go to church. The building that we worship in is not the church but it is the people that go to the building that is the church. Speaking in tongues is a very touch subject that people loves to try and build it up or totally destroy. We have one denomination teaching one thing and another denomination teaching another thing. Somebody is wrong. I agree we have the right to interpret the Bible the way we see it but if we do not interpret it the way God God gave it to us then we are interpreting it wrong. I will according to scripture show you what the Bible teaches about tongues and how it is to be used in the services at the houses of worship and how God has it laid out for us to understand. There are many topics that there are many different teaching about in the Word of God and some are wrong and some are right. We need to teach the right things when it is concerning the Word of God and then people will not be confused about what to believe. We just need to tech it very simple just the way that God has taught it in the Word of God for us so that we do not have to be confused. I will go into several things that we need to understand. I will not be able to cover everything in this one book or a dozen books but I will be able to give enough good information on some topics that will help you to understand what God has tried to give us all along how that with the simplicity of the Word of God that we can understand it.

Gods Word has much to say to believers but will confound the unbelievers. Confusion has entered the church to deceive believers from Gods truth. The church is not the same when many preachers are proclaiming lies, which is false doctrine. Many denominations have caused this confusion to be sustained as truth through their people for many past generations. People think preachers only proclaim truth. When you tell a lie long enough, you believe it. Some denominations tell the world that Gods Word is full of errors and contradictions, which is what Satan wants to cause more deception. If you do what God wants, you will have peace with God. If you do less than what is expected, God will take your talent and give it to someone else. If you are available, God will meet you there. The Bible does command you to commit your way to the Lord and follow him.

Jesus didn't die so we could merely go to church. When we come to church, our lives are enriched. When we become the church, our world is enriched. Largely the world has the wrong idea about the church because Christians have the wrong idea about themselves. The church of our day has embraced a theology that endorses a self-serving existence. We were born for more than that! We are the giant killers of our generation! Be awakened to the purposes of God! Be free from religious confusion!

In innumerable discussions and activities dedicated to better understanding and helping teenagers, one aspect of teenage life is curiously overlooked. Very few such efforts pay serious attention to the role of religion and spirituality in the lives of American adolescents. But many teenagers are very involved in religion. Surveys reveal that 35% attend religious services weekly and another 15% attend at least monthly. 60% say that religious faith is important in their lives. 40% report that they pray daily. 25% say that they have been "born again." Teenagers feel good about the congregations they belong to. Some say that faith provides them with guidance and resources for knowing how to live well. What is going on in the religious and spiritual lives of American teenagers? What do they actually believe? What religious practices do they engage in? Do they expect to remain loyal to the faith of their parents? Or are they abandoning traditional religious institutions in search of a new, more authentic "spirituality"? This book attempts to answer these and related questions as definitively as possible. It reports the findings of The National Study of Youth and Religion, the largest and most detailed such study ever undertaken. The NYSR conducted a nationwide telephone survey of teens and significant caregivers, as well as nearly 300 in-depth face-to-face interviews with a sample of the population that was surveyed. The results show that religion and spirituality are indeed very significant in the lives of many American teenagers. Among many other discoveries, they find that teenagers are far more influenced by the religious beliefs and practices of their parents and caregivers than commonly thought. They refute the conventional wisdom that teens are "spiritual but not religious." And they confirm that greater religiosity is significantly associated with more positive adolescent life outcomes. This eagerly-awaited volume not only provides an unprecedented understanding of adolescent religion and spirituality but, because teenagers serve as bellwethers for possible future trends, it affords an important and distinctive window through which to observe and assess the current state and future direction of American religion as a whole.

Are we on the verge of a great apostasy in the church? “For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths.” —2 Timothy 4:3-4 Jesus Christ is coming back. It is certainly a Christian’s greatest hope during these difficult times. The Bible warns us that the last days will be tumultuous—wars and rumors of wars will spread (Matthew 24:6). In our age, the world seems to be spinning out of control, creating fear, confusion, and uncertainty. In addition to violence, pestilence, and epidemics, the Bible predicts a great “falling away” from God in the end times. Bible teachers call that “the great apostasy.” Are we seeing evidence today in the church of this massive rejection of sound and wholesome teaching? Bestselling authors Mark Hitchcock and Jeff Kinley team up to examine the evidence from the teachers of our time. Are today’s teachers allowing people to follow their own desires by telling them what they want to hear, as the Bible clearly predicts? Are major portions of the church ready to abandon sound and wholesome teaching? Together, Mark and Jeff explore alarming trends among today’s church leaders and they are simply stunned by what they discover. The great apostasy is coming, but is it closer than we imagine? What does that mean for the future? Let Mark and Jeff be your steady guides to the difficult days ahead.

With an estimated 34,000 Christian denominations around the world all claiming to have the truth, it can be confusing as to whom to believe. Yet, when we turn away from human traditions and creeds and rely solely on the Word of God, our confusion disappears and is replaced with understanding. Bible Truth or Church Tradition documents author Melvin Maxwell’s personal study of the beliefs and doctrines of today’s mainstream churches in an effort to determine which world church adheres most closely to the teachings of the Bible. His discussion of non-biblical traditions within Christianity will make readers think about what they believe and are practicing and if it really follows the Bible.
