Sandra managed to survive the first major incursion from the nearby Orcs, thanks in part to the help a certain Half-Orc/Half-Dwarf provided. However, Kelerim left her dungeon to seek out his father, leaving her all alone with just Winxa - her Dungeon Fairy - as company. With the loss of her new friend comes some opportunities, at least; she now has the freedom to craft whatever she wants, and the threat of her Dungeon Core's destruction from outside forces is practically absent. She even has the opportunity to upgrade her Core Size, unlocking additional constructs for use as Dungeon Monsters, as well as a new Core-specific Skill. Unfortunately for Sandra, a particular action outside of the dungeon has unintentionally drawn attention to her activities, and there's now a very serious threat to her survival. Racing against the clock, the crafting-based dungeon needs to find a way to prevent her destruction, all the while dealing with the problems her expanding Area of Influence has created.Because it's not only the nearby races that she has to deal with - but the nearby dungeons, as well. This Dungeon Core story contains LitRPG/GameLit elements such as statistics and leveling and a heavy crafting emphasis. No profanity and no harems.

Putting Intellectual Property In Its Place written by Laura J. Murray and has been published by Oxford University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014-03 with Law categories.

Putting Intellectual Property in its Place examines the relationship between creativity and intellectual property law on the premise that, despite concentrated critical attention devoted to IP law from academic, policy and activist quarters, its role as a determinant of creative activity is overstated. The effects of IP rights or law are usually more unpredictable, non-linear, or illusory than is often presumed. Through a series of case studies focusing on nineteenth century journalism, "fake" art, plant hormone research between the wars, online knitting communities, creativity in small cities, and legal practice, the authors discuss the many ways people comprehend the law through information and opinions gathered from friends, strangers, coworkers, and the media. They also show how people choose to share, create, negotiate, and dispute based on what seems fair, just, or necessary, in the context of how their community functions in that moment, while ignoring or reimagining legal mechanisms. In this book authors Murray, Piper, and Robertson define "the everyday life of IP law", constituting an experiment in non-normative legal scholarship, and in building theory from material and located practice.

In the volume’s five sections—Play and Hacking, Access and Equity, Interdependence and Interdisciplinarity, Cultural and Environmental Sustainability, and Labor and Leisure—authors from around the world present a collage of issues and practices connecting object making, participatory culture, and socio-cultural transformation. Offering gateways into cultural practices from six continents, this volume explores the participatory culture of maker and crafter spaces in education and reveals how community sites hold the promise of such socio-cultural transformation.

This book analyzes ALBA’s structure and dynamics, its practicality, its medium and long-term sustainability, and its capacity to influence regional and international affairs. The work examines ALBA’s possible economic and security consequences for neighboring non-member states in the region, particularly the United States, as well as other key actors such as China, Russia, and Iran. The volume analyzes the origins, ideological orientation, structure, internal dynamics, and evolution of the ALBA initiative and its regional and international implications during its first decade of existence. It is the first comprehensive work on the subject with a multi-disciplinary perspective and it provides an analysis of the new regional, Bolivarian Alliance initiative in Latin America and its relation to the international system. The volume includes studies on the Bolivarian Alliance and Chavismo under Hugo Chávez Frías’ leadership. As a whole, this volume weaves together such crucial issues as oil politics, drug-trafficking, hemispheric security, and trade.

A journey into Minecraft’s past reunites Gameknight999 with old enemies. Trapped one hundred years in Minecraft’s past, Gameknight999 struggles to keep his real identity a secret from the villagers of long ago, all while preparing them for battle. Herobrine’s forces are getting closer every day, advancing across the Overworld and leaving a path of destruction in their wake. Furious at Gameknight’s unexpected meddling, the evil virus takes revenge, creating the terrifying shadow-crafters. He gives these strange NPCs of darkness the power to build super-monsters, servants of Herobrine that are meaner, stronger, and more dangerous than anything Minecraft has ever seen before. As casualties mount, it’s clear that every last bit of the villagers’ strength and bravery will be tested before the dust settles. Even worse, in the heat of battle the User-that-is-not-a-user will come face to face with Herobrine’s most terrible creation, a monster from his nightmares he thought he would never have to face again… Sky Pony Press, with our Good Books, Racehorse and Arcade imprints, is proud to publish a broad range of books for young readers—picture books for small children, chapter books, books for middle grade readers, and novels for young adults. Our list includes bestsellers for children who love to play Minecraft; stories told with LEGO bricks; books that teach lessons about tolerance, patience, and the environment, and much more. While not every title we publish becomes a New York Times bestseller or a national bestseller, we are committed to books on subjects that are sometimes overlooked and to authors whose work might not otherwise find a home.
