The postulate of molecules-to-human evolution by natural selection (evolutionism), like creationism, cannot be demonstrated empirically. Therefore, the creationism-evolutionism controversy offers a choice between intelligent design by God and unintelligent design by evolutionary selection. Scientists are split on philosophical grounds since events in the immaterial realm are outside the purview of science. In reality, designers claim products; no product of a process, can account for how it was designed or for its ontology. Accordingly, Scientific American Editor John Rennie suggested that one way to override a purely evolutionary worldview is, if the creator/s appeared and claimed credit. Author Michael Ebifegha's previous book The Death of Evolution provides the historical details of Gods ancient claim for creating the universe before an audience. Dawkins, in his The God Delusion, failed to address this historical event; hence, his statement that There almost certainly is no God is flawed. The Darwinian Delusion discusses the fossil record, the role of natural selection; the mystery of the origin of life and Gods affirmation of agency in world history. Ebifegha argues that both the scientific and philosophical analysis point to God as the Creator and hence the delusion as such is not about God, but about the Darwinian paradigm of materialism.

Charles Darwin's 'The Origin of Species' reframed the way most of us have come to think about the natural world and man's relationship to it. Leading evolutionists have consistently dismissed any opposition to Darwinian evolution, which was built on analogy rather than experiments. The Darwinian theory of evolution contends that new species are formed gradually by random variation and through competition. Empirical evidence shows the opposite; that is, new species are formed rapidly with intent and through cooperation. Darwinism and anti-Darwinism cannot be both rights. Because empirical science is neutral, the only correct resolution is to bid farewell to Darwinism. There was no common ancestor, and there are no missing links. Honest scientists will also professionally and comfortably bid farewell to natural selection as a designing agency. Thus, the truth about humanity's origin cannot be obtained through theoretical studies of our surroundings. If nature, which obeys laws, is not the creator, who is? The appropriate question is, "are we here by chance, or do we belong to an agent who is supposed to inform us about our origin and purpose in life?" In light of this question, John Rennie, chief editor of Scientific American, in his July 2002 article, wrote: "If super-intelligent aliens appeared and claimed credit for creating life on Earth (or even particular species), the purely evolutionary explanation would be cast in doubt. But no one has yet produced such evidence." Rennie was right in his request for a claimant, but he was wrong in his conclusion that no one has come forward to claim ownership. Does the field of evolution differ from other sciences?
