Our God is beyond a one-name moniker. Identifying an unidentifiable God seems to be an improbable challenge as to who can describe a God that goes beyond description. Limiting God to a few names does not negate his power, but it does limit the power we allow him to have in our lives. What Do You Call Him? Unveiling 160 Names of God will unleash this power from knowing about him to having a relationship with him. Unfortunately, we lack knowledge of God not because of an unwillingness to learn but because of the limits that we place on his name. Learning more about the names of God allows for a transition from knowing about him to making him known. This book aims to give biblical accounts behind the meaning of 160 names of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit to help close the gap on some of the mysteries of God and truly determine what we call him.

What if, for more than fifty years, you worked hard to research the New Testament without denominational filters? And then what if you were to organize that research by subject matter? Well, that is what I have done in these two volumes of “Blueprint for a Revolution: Building Upon ALL of The New Testament.” What follows is a catechism of apostolic, true Christianity. It is a body of teaching that flows out of taking all New Testament teachings in a grammatically natural and literal sense, the way we instinctively read all serious literature. Testimony from the earliest Christians is also presented, demonstrating that what those earliest churches taught and lived out was typically identical to what you conclude when you take the New Testament doctrines, commands and promises in that same sense. In those many years of research, I have never come upon a single church or book that provides a specific set of principles (a.k.a., “exegetical method”) by which all Biblical passages are to be interpreted, and that has then set about to consistently surrender to those principles in all the subjects that it covers. My claim, therefore, is that this is the only such catechetical work that does just that. The importance of this book does not lie mainly in the specific conclusions of any individual chapter, and certainly not in any of my literally skills at presenting those conclusions. It lies largely in the juxtaposition of teachings that are often thought to be in conflict with each other only because the traditions that hold to the beliefs in those chapters have been in conflict with each other. It is my contention that what Jesus considered to be “my church” is what is taught within these chapters, the church that is an incarnation of His “kingdom of God”!

This book invites readers on a profound journey through the realms of heaven and the intricate dynamics of faith. It begins with the Divine Blueprint of Creation, unveiling the majestic design of existence and our place within it. As we explore the First Heaven—Paradise—let us delve into the complexities of Man's Fall, which has led to an enduring rift between Earth and Heaven. Through the lens of biblical narratives, we examine the significant roles of heavenly beings and the magnificence of God's Throne Room. Intercessory prayer and angelic announcements bridge the gap between the spiritual and physical worlds, reminding us of the power of collective faith and community prayer. The book further encompasses prophetic insights from the Old Testament, the ultimate plan of the Messiah, and the transformative power of the Cross, leading us to contemplate our eternal destiny as outlined in the Lamb's Book of Life. Each chapter offers a glimpse into the tests of faith faced by biblical heroes and the timeless lessons we glean from their trials and perseverance. As the narrative unfolds, themes of suffering, resurrection, and restoration resonate deeply, illuminating our understanding of hope in times of persecution. With a vision of heaven as a place prepared for us, the text inspires readers to live out their faith and values in an earthly context, embracing the Great Commission as our heavenly mandate. Ultimately, this book serves as both a guide and a reflection on eschatological promises, the ultimate union with God, and the joyful anticipation of eternal life. Through its pages, readers are invited to explore their relationship with the divine and to renew their hope in a world that often seems to eclipse the light of heaven.

The Spirit And The Common Good written by Daniela C. Augustine and has been published by Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2019-09-12 with Religion categories.
A fresh vision of the common good through pnumatological lenses Daniela C. Augustine, a brilliant emerging scholar, offers a theological ethic for the common good. Augustine develops a public theology from a theological vision of creation as the household of the Triune God, bearing the image of God in a mutual sharing of divine love and justice, and as a sacrament of the divine presence. The Spirit and the Common Good expounds upon the application of this vision not only within the life of the church but also to the realm of politics, economics, and care for creation. The church serves a priestly and prophetic function for society, indeed for all of creation. This renewed vision becomes the foundation for constructing a theological ethic of planetary flourishing in and through commitment to a sustainable communal praxis of a shared future with the other and the different. While emphatically theological in its approach, The Spirit and the Common Good engages readers with insights from political philosophy, sociology of religion, economics, and ecology, as well as forgiveness/reconciliation and peacebuilding studies.

Including classical, modern, and postmodern approaches to theological anthropology, this volume covers the entire spectrum of thought on the doctrines of creation, the human person as imago Dei, sin, and grace. The editors have gathered an exceptionally diverse range of voices, ensuring ecumenical balance (Protestant, Roman Catholic and Orthodox) and the inclusion of previously neglected perspectives (women, African American, Asian, Latinx, and LGBTQ). The contributors revisit authors from the “Great Tradition” (early church, medieval, and modern), and discuss them alongside critical and liberationist approaches (ranging from feminist, decolonial, and intersectional theory to critical race theory and queer performance theory). This is a much-needed overview of a rapidly evolving field.
