Do you trust God's Word to be Faithful and True? Have you ever considered what the authors of the Bible, who were inspired by God, wrote about regarding the shape of the Earth? Does God's Word even mention the topic? Are NASA's claims and the mainstream Scientific Community in complete alignment with God's Word, or are there some contradictions? If there are contradictions, does it really matter? Did God intend for us to interpret his description of his Earth as mere poetry and metaphors? Is it possible that NASA has debunked God's Word at our subconscious? Does God's Word state that he created a Globe Earth, Flat Earth, or some other kind of shaped Earth? Does God care what you believe the shape of the Earth to be? The answers to these questions and many many more are within, and you may just be surprised.

With a new foreword by Scott Austin 'I hope that these essays may illustrate the thesis that all history is or should be the history of problem situations, and that in following this principle we may further our understanding of the Presocratics and other thinkers of the past. The essays also try to show the greatness of the early Greek philosophers, who gave Europe its philosophy, its science, and its humanism.' - Karl Popper, from the preface The World of Parmenides is a brilliant exploration of the complexity of ancient Greek thought and science by one of the twentieth century’s leading philosophers. It reveals the great importance of Presocratic philosophy to Popper’s thought as a whole and shows the profound enlightenment he experienced reading not only Parmenides but the wider world of Greek science and philosophy including Xenophanes and Heraclitus. Where are we? Where is heaven and where is God? Are there moments in your life where you look to the sky and wonder, where are we? Do you see images of earth in space and question how you fit into it all? Is God really out there? Does he even know I exist? If a child were to ask you where heaven is, what would you say? Would you smile, point to the sky and say, up there? Most children are satisfied with that answer, but I have a question for you.....do you actually believe that?Do you really believe heaven is up there? Or do you have your doubts? What about someone south of the equator? Is heaven up there for them too? How would that work? Is heaven just out there somewhere? How is it possible that the sun and moon perfectly overlap on an eclipse? How is the sun about 400 times the size of the moon, yet happens to be about 400 times further away? Does that strike you as an amazing coincidence? What if it is not a coincidence at all? What if there is more to it than we can possibly imagine?Together, you and I are going to go on a very special journey. A journey that will take us through the pages of the most famous book ever assembled. Will a single book, comprised of 66 smaller books, written over a 1500 year period, by 40 different authors, all inspired by God, paint a consistent picture of God's creation? This book contains over 100 illustrated examples from the Bible. Will they paint a clear and consistent picture about the location of earth, heaven and God? Will we find the answers to some of mankind's biggest mysteries were right in front of us the whole time? The Shape Of Sola Scriptura written by Keith A. Mathison and has been published by Canon Press & Book Service this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2001 with Religion categories.
In what shape do we find the doctrine of sola Scriptura today? Many modern Evangelicals see it as a license to ignore history and the creeds in favor of a more splintered approach to the Christian living. In the past two decades, Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox apologists have strongly tried to undermine sola Scriptura as unbiblical, unhistorical, and impractical. But these groups rest their cases on a recent, false take on sola Scriptura. The ancient, medieval, and classical Protestant view of sola Scriptura actually has a quite different shape than most opponents and defenders maintain. Therein lies the goal of this book-an intriguing defense of the ancient (and classical Protestant) doctrine of sola Scriptura against the claims of Rome, the East, and modern Evangelicalism. "The issue of sola Scriptura is not an abstract problem relevant only to the sixteenth-century Reformation, but one that poses increasingly more serious consequences for contemporary Christianity. This work by Keith Mathison is the finest and most comprehensive treatment of the matter I've seen. I highly recommend it to all who embrace the authority of sacred Scripture." -R.C. Shortly after accepting the flat earth as a model for the world, I decided to revisit the Book of the Courses of the Heavenly Luminaries to see if my new understanding would somehow mirror what Enoch was sharing as the motion of the sun and moon. As I began to read chapters 71-82, I found to my utter amazement that I was able to grasp those passages. I knew then that the vision that the angel Uriel had shown to Enoch could only be deciphered if one were to imagine Enoch's description of the revolution of the sun and the moon. As seen from above the flat circular plane of the earth as described by Isaiah; and that Enoch must have been taken up to perhaps where Polaris is, centered directly above the North Pole, and while looking down at the backdrop of the earth, was instructed on the motions of both the sun and moon. Without such conception, it is in my opinion impossible to apply these descriptions to the model of the earth as a spherical planet.
