The Double Life of a Minister’s Wife inspired me to face my trials and to keep God first in my life all the time. My influence on people is uplifting to me. And even when they try to derail me, I don’t let anybody dictate who I am, what I should be in life, or what they want me to do. I have done a lot of things that a real overprotective mother, wife, daughter, and saint would do—maybe not in that exact order. I am who I am, and what God has for me is for me. Nobody can tell me differently or lead me to believe otherwise. So I tilt my hat to each and every one who took the time out to and read and be a part of my testimonies and my life story that I have shared. There is a story that must be told and a novel that must be read, and I know that you enjoyed being fed. Remember, if you doubt yourself, then how can you relay your message to help the next fellow man or woman? Be blessed and look for book number 4 and many more to follow, even a movie. It’s all about the God in me! This is a short story of a woman wanting to be loved but didn’t know that she was in a relationship with the devil himself. Certain people will do whatever it takes to get a person, but when you succeed, then you get too comfortable in a web of deceit and betrayal, headed for derailment. I was blinded by the flesh instead of obeying my heavenly Father’s commandment and seeking God first. I was so hungry for love and was tired of the backstabbing and continuous betrayal of past relationships that I trusted and believed this man that was sent to destroy and confuse my mind and to make me switch sides. This evil person did everything up under the table and had me so blinded that all his lies were the ties between the sweet and the bitter, which made me be more scornful and made me wish I was never born!

Lost in a dark wood like Dante, Nicholas Hagger tells the story of his search for meaning, purpose and truth that took him to Iraq and Japan, and encounters with Zen and China’s Cultural Revolution, which he was the first to discover. In Libya, then a Cold-War battleground, he began four years’ service and a double life as an undercover British intelligence agent (here revealed for the first time). He witnessed Gaddafi’s Egyptian/Soviet-backed coup, and its terrifying aftermath tore into his personal life, plunged him into a Dark Night of the Soul and faced him with execution. He went on to serve in London as Prime Minister Edward Heath’s “unofficial Ambassador” to the African liberation movements at the height of Soviet and Chinese expansion in Africa during the Cold War. Despite being routinely followed by surveillance squads he found Reality on a ‘Mystic Way’ of loss, purgation and illumination. He now perceived the universe as a unity, and had 16 experiences of the metaphysical Light.

There are few living international figures who fascinate the world more than Fidel Castro. He is at once an infamous historical figure, a modern-day politician and one of the last of his kind. From the leader of a revolution to one who has been accused of dictatorship, exploiting the power of his position to become one of the wealthiest leaders in the world, Fidel Castro's life away from the public eye has remained largely unscrutinised. Despite the world's longstanding desire to know more, biographers have thus far barely scratched the surface of Castro's life and reign. No one with any real knowledge or intimacy of Castro has ever been able to come forward to tell their story - partly because so few people can claim that distinction, and partly because the few who can would never make it out of Cuba. At long last, though, at the end of Castro's life, someone has. Juan Sanchez, former personal chaperone to Castro and, later, fugitive from the vindictive regime, offers a shocking exposure of the man to whom he was devoted for seventeen years - a man whose secret life is entirely different from the facade he presents to the people of Cuba.

"Gregorio tells [Katharine] Clark's story in engaging, well-researched and vivid detail...an eloquent tribute." —Wall Street Journal If you loved Kate Moore's The Radium Girls, Sonia Purnell's A Woman of No Importance, or Rebecca Donner's All the Frequent Troubles of Our Days, you'll be enthralled with this untold true story of how Katharine Clark, a trailblazing journalist, exposed the truth about Communism to the world. In 1955, Katharine Clark, the first American woman wire reporter behind the Iron Curtain, saw something none of her male colleagues did. What followed became one of the most unusual adventure stories of the Cold War. While on assignment in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, Clark befriended a man who, by many definitions, was her enemy. But she saw something in Milovan Djilas, a high-ranking Communist leader who dared to question the ideology he helped establish, that made her want to work with him. It became the assignment of her life. Against the backdrop of protests in Poland and a revolution in Hungary, she risked her life to ensure Djilas's work made it past the watchful eye of the Yugoslavian secret police to the West. She single-handedly was responsible for smuggling his scathing anti-Communism manifesto, The New Class, out of Yugoslavia and into the hands of American publishers. The New Class would go on to sell three million copies worldwide, become a New York Times bestseller, be translated into over 60 languages, and be used by the CIA in its covert book program. Meticulously researched and written by Clark's great-niece, Katharine Gregorio, The Double Life of Katharine Clark illuminates a largely untold chapter of the twentieth century. It shows how a strong-willed, fiercely independent woman with an ardent commitment to truth, justice and freedom put her life on the line to share ideas with the world, ultimately transforming both herself—and history—in the process. Praise for The Double Life of Katharine Clark: "Reads like thriller fiction."—Major General Mari K. Eder, author of The Girls Who Stepped Out of Line "[A] nail-biting story...recreates a forgotten chapter of the Cold War."—Robert D. Kaplan, national bestselling author of Balkan Ghosts "An interesting read well told."—Nina Willner, author of Forty Autumns "[A] fascinating book about an extraordinary woman who made her mark during the Cold War."—Dr. Aleksa Djilas, author of The Contested Country and the son of Steffie and Milovan Djilas

Isabel Bookbinder is a twenty-seven-year-old assistant at the Saturday Mercury newspaper in London. She has a disinterested boyfriend, a mother who loves clothes that match, and a father who always expects her to do better. Although Isabel may spend most of her time measuring newspaper column inches, she's well on her way to becoming a bestselling author. She's already perfected Her Look (cashmere track suit, lots of mascara), is working on her toned size eight figure, and gets up at dawn to work on her novel (well, sort of). She even has a fabulous mentor -- a bestselling but increasingly eccentric author who takes her to glamorous book parties and introduces her to the dreamy literary agent Joe Madison. But when she inadvertently exposes a political sex scandal and her name becomes known for all the wrong reasons, her glamorous double life starts to spin out of control. With her distinctive voice, penchant for getting in sticky situations, and blind confidence in her dream of becoming a famous novelist, Isabel Bookbinder is a heroine that you can't help but root for.

In The Double Life of Fidel Castro, one of Castro's soldiers of 17 years breaks his silence and shares his memoir of years of service, and eventual imprisonment and torture for displeasing the notorious dictator, and his dramatic escape from Cuba. Responsible for protecting the Lider maximo for two decades, Juan Reinaldo Sánchez was party to his secret life – because everything around Castro was hidden. From the ghost town in which guerrillas from several continents were trained, to his immense personal fortune – including a huge property portfolio, a secret paradise island, and seizure of public money – as well as his relationship with his family and his nine children from five different partners. Sanchez's tell-all expose reveals countless state secrets and the many sides of the Cuban monarch: genius war leader in Nicaragua and Angola, paranoid autocrat at home, master spy, Machiavellian diplomat, and accomplice to drug traffickers. This extraordinary testimony makes us re-examine everything we thought we knew about the Cuban story and Fidel Castro Ruz.
