The Dui Investigation Handbook written by David Jolly and has been published by Outskirts Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2011-08 with Law categories.

The crime of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) begins and ends with the work of a well trained law enforcement officer. These officers observe driving behaviors of DUI drivers, respond to 911 calls and accidents, observe the physical appearances and mannerisms of DUI drivers, administer field sobriety tests to drivers, and ultimately must decide whether the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The complexity of these tasks under difficult conditions requires the law enforcement officer to make many decisions that will affect the individual being investigated and ultimately the case against this person. Therefore the decisions made by the officer must only be based on a thorough and well crafted investigation. This book details the DUI investigation process from the initial observations of driving, the first contact with the driver, and the administration of field sobriety tests. This book takes an objective view of the DUI investigation process and what law enforcement must do to properly and ethically proceed with each phase of the DUI investigation. This book is a must for every DUI law enforcement officer and any individual in the field of DUI, including prosecutors and defense attorneys.

The Dui Extortion Racket written by George Damusis and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2019-11-27 with categories.

This book investigates and exposes the ultimate goal of DUI law enforcement, which is to generate a steady income for their policing business. Their claim, of course, is that their only goal is keeping the public safe, and has nothing to do with money. The author, George Damusis, reveals the deceitfulness and hypocrisy of that claim. He argues that it's a form of tyranny and a violation of human rights to arrest, criminalize, extort, and virtually enslave common, decent citizens for a year just for drinking moderately before driving. Mr. Damusis suggests that the arrests and criminalization of common, decent citizens for the very common human act of drinking moderately before driving is the real crime. Unbiased traffic accident research indicates that moderately intoxicated drivers cause no more accidents than alcohol free drivers. So, what rule of logic allows law enforcement to declare these common citizens to be criminals? While Mr. Damusis does agree that the best and most rational safety policy is to not drink any alcohol at all before driving, he also insists that those who do drink in moderation before driving are not criminals by any stretch of the imagination. They are, after all, doing only what millions of social drinking drivers do so naturally every weekend in this our government supported, alcohol permissive culture. These common citizens are only charged with an actual crime in order to make it legal to arrest and fine them repeatedly. It's clearly a case of policing for profit, and not a case of policing for public safety. Mr. Damusis is not a law professional, and received no professional mentoring in the writing of this book. His arguments are a product of his personal experiences, the experiences of others, and his serious internet research. This book severely criticizes our oppressive DUI laws and DUI enforcement policies, but also offers constructive proposals for bringing moral reform to the entire DUI law enforcement system.

The Drug Dui Handbook written by David N. Jolly and has been published by Outskirts Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2011-09 with Law categories.

In the driving under the influence (DUI) context it is conceded that drugs, illegal and those prescribed by a physician, may impair perception, memory, judgment, motor skills, and the ability to operate a motor vehicle. According to governmental statistics about one in five (18 percent) motorists killed in 2010 had drugs in their system at the time of the crash. Drug DUIs are becoming an alarming trend. This book details the drug DUI process from field sobriety testing, the DRE 12-step process, blood draws, and an analysis of all of the drugs that impair and affect an individual's ability to drive. This book is an objective and detailed review of the process that drug DUI cases must go through and a comprehensive analysis of the detection of drug impaired drivers and the gathering of evidence to prove a driver is under the influence of drugs. This book is a must for every DUI law enforcement officer and any individual in the DUI field, including prosecutors and DUI defense attorneys.
