I felt Called by the spirit of the LORD to author this Book. I realize that by the grace of God for seven decades, I am blessed to share my thoughts about the Glory of Unconditional Love, Forgiveness, and the importance of having as a healthy Father Figure Role Model Commitment within and outside of the Home. Message to the Readers: This book is ideal for couples that are planning to start a meaningful relationship or a future marriage. Similarly, will significantly help anyone that had previously experienced a divorce and is now planning their second or third marriage. Because it examines the correlation between Divorces and an unhealthy Father Figure's Commitment Role Model. That based on average second marriages results in a 60 percent marriage Divorce Rate. The Divorce Rates percentages are even higher for third and greater marriages. Therefore, this is what compelled me to authoring this book. Clinically, I believe that on average people that are going or had gone through a divorce need to pause and read this book. As an approach to start the process of addressing needed behavioral changes. Since coping with separation from someone you once genuinely loved is a very unhappy life experience. Both parties need to recognize that a failed or failing first marriage is strong indication that something is wrong and needs to be clinically processed and resolved. My hypothesis is based on my over fifty years of life experiences, numerous episodes of unregulated and unprocessed emotions, as well as an inconsistent presentation of the Father Figure's Commitment essence. That was cultivated by years of embedded and unprocessed unhealthy emotions. Due to an exhibited argumentative presentation that lacked the heart of Unconditional Love and Forgiveness. In general, regarding the connection between Divorce Rate and the Father Figure Commitment, I think, that by increasing awareness about the value of two-way healthy communication, where all parties' thoughts, feelings, and concerns are relevant. In addition, improve people passion for healthier communication within a family, will result in strengthen their readiness to implement skills to better manage unregulated emotions, resolve concerns and reduce the Divorce Rate number for second and higher marriages. Furthermore, during the initial stages of any relationships and prior to Marriage, there should be discussions about the fundamental principles unconditional love and forgiveness. That is achieved by the implementation of effective Counseling techniques from the Nineteen Chapters in this book.

Father Figure written by Jordan Shapiro and has been published by Hachette UK this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021-05-11 with Family & Relationships categories.

A thoughtful and "utterly mind-blowing" exploration of fatherhood and masculinity in the 21st century (New York Times). There are hundreds of books on parenting, and with good reason—becoming a parent is scary, difficult, and life-changing. But when it comes to books about parenting identity, rather than the nuts and bolts of raising children, nearly all are about what it's like to be a mother. Drawing on research in sociology, economics, philosophy, gender studies, and the author's own experiences, Father Figure sets out to fill that gap. It's an exploration of the psychology of fatherhood from an archetypal perspective as well as a cultural history that challenges familiar assumptions about the origins of so-called traditional parenting roles. What paradoxes and contradictions are inherent in our common understanding of dads? Might it be time to rethink some aspects of fatherhood? Gender norms are changing, and old economic models are facing disruption. As a result, parenthood and family life are undergoing an existential transformation. And yet, the narratives and images of dads available to us are wholly inadequate for this transition. Victorian and Industrial Age tropes about fathers not only dominate the media, but also contour most people's lived experience. Father Figure offers a badly needed update to our collective understanding of fatherhood—and masculinity in general. It teaches dads how to embrace the joys of fathering while guiding them toward an image of manliness for the modern world.

Child Sexual Abuse written by Rebecca M. Bolen and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2007-05-08 with Psychology categories.

Child sexual abuse has become a prevalent topic of study and discussion in the fields of Child Psychology, Pediatrics, Law Enforcement, and Social Work. But even with the widespread knowledge of identifiable behavior in its victims and abusers, society's response to child sexual abuse is failing profoundly. Rebecca Bolen's authoritative book, Child Sexual Abuse: Its Scope and Our Failure, clearly defines the scope of child sexual abuse and addresses society's ability to respond to the problem. It is her thesis that society's response to child sexual abuse is failing because the policies, programs, and statutes designed to assess and identify abuse are grounded in historical and myth-bound theoretical child sexual abuse literature rather than in the empirical knowledge base. This comprehensive text on child sexual abuse covers: The historical conceptualization of child sexual abuse, starting with Freud. A review of the empirical literature on the incidence and prevalence of child sexual abuse. The professional response to child sexual abuse. The most sophisticated model of risk of child sexual abuse done to date. Two new models of understanding reactions by nonoffending guardians. The pervasiveness of the threat of extrafamilial abuse. £/LIST£ This text is divided into three main areas of discussion: Sociohistorical Context, Scope of the Problem, and Aftermath. This comprehensive review can be used not only as a text, but also as a primary reference for professionals in government, law enforcement, medical, mental health, and any agency that works with child sexual abuse offenders and victims.

Have you ever asked yourself why you struggle finding healthy, loving romantic relationships? Marla Washington's book, “Dating Without A Daddy” offers a unique perspective as to why some of you find yourselves in unhealthy romantic relationships. She suggests some of your problems can be traced back to childhood and that growing up fatherless may have a profound effect on your love choices.Daddy is a term of endearment. This word signifies a special relationship between a father and child. Almost every little girl at one time or another envisioned having a daddy, a strong male to hold, to kiss and to just hear him say, “you're daddy's little girl and I will always love you.” But for millions of young girls having a dad is just a fantasy. And for those of you who didn't have a dad as a young girl, as you transition into womanhood, there becomes this constant need to fill this void with any male figure.“Dating Without A Daddy” is more than an analysis of the problem and a laundry list of don'ts. Marla Washington offers the 'must do's for avoiding being a victim of fatherlessness and successfully discovering a worthy life partner. Consider this book an intervention for those of you who don't have a father or father figure to tell you some of the things needed to discern the men you pursue and the men who pursue you. This book is a critical insight into the lives of fatherless daughters looking for love.

Islam In American Prisons written by Professor Hamid Reza Kusha and has been published by Ashgate Publishing, Ltd. this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013-02-28 with Social Science categories.

The growth of Islam both worldwide and particularly in the United States is especially notable among African-American inmates incarcerated in American state and federal penitentiaries. This growth poses a powerful challenge to American penal philosophy, structured on the ideal of rehabilitating offenders through penance and appropriate penal measures. Islam in American Prisons argues that prisoners converting to Islam seek an alternative form of redemption, one that poses a powerful epistemological as well as ideological challenge to American penology. Meanwhile, following the events of 9/11, some prison inmates have converted to radical anti-Western Islam and have become sympathetic to the goals and tactics of the Al-Qa'ida organization. This new study examines this multifaceted phenomenon and makes a powerful argument for the objective examination of the rehabilitative potentials of faith-based organizations in prisons, including the faith of those who convert to Islam.

Behavioral Analysis Of Maternal Filicide written by Joy Lynn E. Shelton and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014-10-01 with Psychology categories.

Maternal filicide has been discussed in the medical, mental health, and child abuse fields, yet little research exists with a criminal justice/law enforcement perspective. Nevertheless, criminal justice professionals responsible for investigation and prosecution of these offenders often must give attention to unique behavioral, social, and psychological dynamics not considered in many other types of cases. The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) III – Crimes Against Children identified, collected, and reviewed law enforcement case files in which a biological mother killed her child(ren). Collectively, the cases involve 213 biological mothers who killed 265 children, and are comprised of neonaticide, infanticide, and filicide cases. Data analysis revealed that the offenders ranged in age from 12-46 years, and many were unmarried, unemployed, and had a history of violence. Many of the victims were three years of age or younger, did not live with their biological fathers at the time of their deaths, and had a history of maltreatment most often perpetrated by their mothers. In addition, traditional weapons such as a firearm or knife were used less often compared to asphyxiants and blunt force instruments. The authors explore the tenets of female violence, the mother-child dynamic and mental disorders, and address the complexities associated with investigating and prosecuting maternal filicide offenders.
