THIS WOLF HUNTS ALONE His Crow name was Crazy Wolf. Orphaned after losing his family in an Indian attack, young Cody Hunter found a loving home among the Crow people—and learned the ancient ways of the Crow trackers. His well-honed skills earned him a place in the U.S. Army as a valued scout. But now, after fifteen years of living his life as Crazy Wolf, Cody is ready to face his painful past. He will return to the place that still gives him nightmares—and where the dreams of his father ended in bloodshed . . . High in the mountains of Montana, Cody finds a stone memorial erected by the survivors of the families slaughtered there. The site of the attack triggers Cody’s darkest memories—and leads him to a stunning realization: his father and two brothers did not die on that day. They may still be alive. And he will stop at nothing to find them again. To follow in their footsteps. To track them down on the treacherous journey west. A search this deadly may be the craziest thing Crazy Wolf has ever done. But he is a born Hunter—and he’s willing to die that way. . . . Second in the explosive series by Spur Award-winning author Charles G. West! “Rarely has an author painted the great American West in strokes so bold, vivid, and true.” —Ralph Compton

The End of Time and the Beginning of Eternity represents the culmination of lifelong experiences and many years of research by author C. G. Deveaux. Driven by the passion to know the truth, He has researched the secret and the unknown. What he has found is exhilarating and shocking. This study explores the meaning of life and considers the end times in which we are now living. It also offers a warning of coming destruction to the world as we know it--and that hell is real. The good news is that with Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we can be forgiven. Because of Jesus, we can live with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit for eternity. Beginning with the author's personal experiences, The End of Time and the Beginning of Eternity provides a well-balanced approach to the supernatural, followed by facts and evidence of the coming end times. The author provides advice on how to prepare and thrive when many will be lost, destitute, and afraid. To insure the proper context, he augments all of the facts with Holy Scripture. Most of all, this study proves that we are in the end times and explains how we can be victorious in the face of these events.

After forty-three years of ministry, including preaching, teaching, and counseling, I have engaged with many on the topics of heaven, hell, and the afterlife. Some believed in heaven but not hell, some believed in annihilation after death, and some believed that as soon as they died, they would be walking in heaven on streets of gold. However, hardly anyone talked about how things were initially created and how they, and their occupants, would change over time. I am writing this book with the purpose and hope of providing light and biblical proof of how things began and how they have indeed changed over time. All in the master plan of the Almighty God. Let’s get started.

The untold story of the religious figures, philosophers, astronomers, geologists, physicists, and mathematicians who, for more than four hundred years, have pursued the answer to a fundamental question at the intersection of science and religion: When did the universe begin? The moment of the universe's conception is one of science's Holy Grails, investigated by some of the most brilliant and inquisitive minds across the ages. Few were more committed than Bishop James Ussher, who lost his sight during the fifty years it took him to compose his Annals of all known history, now famous only for one date: 4004 b.c. Ussher's date for the creation of the world was spectacularly inaccurate, but that didn't stop it from being so widely accepted that it was printed in early twentieth-century Bibles. As writer and documentary filmmaker Martin Gorst vividly illustrates in this captivating, character-driven narrative, theology let Ussher down just as it had thwarted Theophilus of Antioch and many before him. Geology was next to fail the test of time. In the eighteenth century, naturalist Comte de Buffon, working out the rate at which the earth was supposed to have cooled, came up with an age of 74,832 years, even though he suspected this was far too low. Biology then had a go in the hands of fossil hunter Johann Scheuchzer, who alleged to have found a specimen of a man drowned at the time of Noah's flood. Regrettably it was only the imprint of a large salamander. And so science inched forward via Darwinism, thermodynamics, radioactivity, and, most recently, the astronomers at the controls of the Hubble space telescope, who put the beginning of time at 13.4 billion years ago (give or take a billion). Taking the reader into the laboratories and salons of scholars and scientists, visionaries and eccentrics, Measuring Eternity is an engagingly written account of an epic, often quixotic quest, of how individuals who dedicated their lives to solving an enduring mystery advanced our knowledge of the universe.
