The Fruit of the Soul 2 is a collection of more than 50 inspirational stories based on the biblical term "Fruit of the Spirit" which sums up the nine visible attributes of a true Christian life, which are love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. Fruit of the Soul 2, will show that when any who speaks of the work of the "Holy Spirit," they are speaking about the operations of the Spirit of God in the material world we live in, and within us. The heart wrenching stories in this book also highlight the fact that God the Holy Spirit isn't here just to hang out, or to do a miracle for sport, or bliss someone out for an hour or so. The Spirit is there to cause things to happen in peoples' lives that bring them more in tune with God's purposes on earth (and beyond). When the Spirit starts changing someone, it shows as a growth in character, a change in their way of life that is good for the people they live among. They start actually being the person of love God calls us to be. This change in character and way of life breeds 'fruit of the Spirit', like the fruit grown by a tree can feed people and wildlife. From ancient times to today, abundant fruit from an orchard is seen as cause for hope and celebration. Abundant spiritual fruit of the soul also breeds hope and is well worth celebrating as the stories in this book suggest. Have a great read and God Bless

Recently, I emerged from my morning devotions in 2 John 1:7. The verse instructed to walk in love and live a life of love. This is what God has commanded. God seemed to give me thoughts about this; what if we LIVEaLIFE led by the Spirit? Fruits of the Spirit live in action. That brought me to Galatians 5–6. We learn that when we sow seeds of the Spirit, both here and hereafter, we will reap eternal life. These nine qualities are simple and powerful when put into action daily by anyone. These nine qualities can change hearts and change the world. This is the reason the Spirit of Christ is working in us. The book is a simple reminder that we are to LIVEaLIFE of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control. My prayer is that God’s purpose for this book is that each person might read it and consistently put these qualities into action. With these simple and powerful qualities of the Holy Spirit, many lives will be changed eternally. God’s words, God’s purpose, God’s love, and God’s Spirit.

Has there ever been a time in your life that you felt you had fulfilled most of life's purpose? And God whispers. A time when you had assumed that all God assigned to your hands had been accomplished? And God whispers. Or even a time when you were ready to settle down and enjoy the fruit of your labor? And God whispers. A time when you were getting comfortable and content with your lives, and then suddenly your life makes a shift change and ascends to very unfamiliar territory. And this ascension was unexpected, unintentional, and you're definitely unprepared. Because God whispered. It's so easy to be religious and not have a heart for people. We see this clearly in the parable of the Good Samaritan. How does this relate to us? In today's society, we see all kinds of people who-like the victim in the parable-are half dead. They may be walking around, but they are wounded, with no life in them. Do you have compassion that will mount up? As Christians, we may feel bad for them but also reluctant to get involved, thinking, "If I start to help, where will it end? There could be unintended consequences." People who fail to "see beyond themselves" are usually selfish, insecure, or both. The Good Samaritan didn't think about any of that. What made him reach out was the fact that he was moved with mercy. His compassion soared beyond himself or others. The Good Samaritan didn't save the world; he saved one person! And we can do the same by the power of the Holy Spirit as we follow in the footsteps of Jesus.Have you ever received a mandate precisely from the Lord and delivered by His Holy Spirit? If so, it's not a question as to whether you'll accept or not, because it was issued in love; no matter what's going on in your world at the present, you will comply if at all possible. Obedience, that is the central word for my entire journey. I invite you into the pages of this book to witness our Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and Omniscient God and the working of His Holy Spirit in the life of His servant when He whispered.

Profound reflections on the cross that help you to meditate on and marvel at the sacrificial love of Jesus. This book can be used as a devotional, especially during Lent and Easter. These profound reflections on the cross from David Mathis, author of The Christmas We Didn’t Expect, will help you to meditate on and marvel at Jesus’ life, sacrificial death, and spectacular resurrection-enabling you to treasure anew who Jesus is and what he has done. Many of us are so familiar with the Easter story that it becomes easy to miss subtle details and difficult to really enjoy its meaning. This book will help you to pause and marvel at Jesus, whose now-glorified wounds are a sign of his unfailing love and the decisive victory that he has won: “He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5) This book can be used as a devotional. The chapters on Holy Week make it especially helpful during the Lent season and at Easter.
