Most of our problems in this world are caused by overpopulation. Half of them could be solved if we were to show some constraint in our reproduction. Imagine if you had in your possession a button that gave you the power to control human fertility. Would you push that button just to see what would happen and what affect it would have on our beautiful planet? This little book poses the question. It is a plea to show some sanity towards ourselves, others and the world in which we live. You man not agree with the conclusion, but you will no doubt see some sense in it.

The dogma contained in the Nicene Creed requires submission to unchangeable, unbelievable, and unchangeable statements that are irrelevant to faith in God. Here, the Nicene Creed is criticized, leading to recognition of a God-Within that is no different in jesus as it is in you and I. Recognition of a fully human Jesus allows me to emulate this most holy person who recognized and acted upon his God-within. This recognition is exemplified by the word "Namaste" which simply means "The God within me recognizes the God within you."

The Button Book is the beginning of a personal journey where I believe the Lord led me to scripture and prayer for the ""seasons"" I was in at that time. I recorded each of these scriptures and prayers in my journal which was literally covered with buttons. It was during the end of these seasons when I had completed each page in my journal that I realized that God had provided me with a way to ""button me up"" and ""keep it all together"" especially when at times on the journey; I felt like falling a part. It is my hope, that THE BUTTON BOOK will help you in your journey and the seasons you may find yourself in along the paths of life. May it encourage you to trust GOD to lead you to His word and what He has for you that will touch your heart and provide you with the comfort you may need at that precise moment. That you will keep it with you throughout your journey and pick it up when you need ""to be buttoned up"" by GOD and feel His Holy Spirit move in your season. May THE BUTTON BOOK be a small reminder that you are not alone on this journey and may it help to encourage and inspire your soul. May it remind you that God's word and prayer are powerful and there is nothing too hard for Him; not even you! Trust Him with your whole heart He will provide ""all the buttons"" you need to keep you altogether.

Prayer A Force That Causes Change written by David Williamson and has been published by Trafford Publishing this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2009-10-02 with Religion categories.

Why prayer? Prayer is an expression of needs and faith, but also a way to build a long-lasting relationship with God. In this third volume of Faithful in Prayer, David Williamson shares a series of articles that encourage prayer that, with God's answers, can transform the seemingly impossible into something very possible. Williamson is a regular speaker on prayer and Christian living and through personal anecdotes and applicable scripture leads others through the foundation of faith, ways to build faith for effective prayer, and how to make a stand through prayer. Intended to motivate others to think and dream big, Williamson's articles teach specifically how to: * Believe God over the evidence * Deal with unforgiveness * Protect the heart to keep out doubt * Be bold in prayer and allow God to work * Live how He says we should live God is calling for men and women to join with Him in the work through prayer and action. Prayer: A Force That Causes Change provides the encouragement, empowerment, and grace so that others can be successful in prayer. But Jesus looked at them and said to them, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Matthew 19:26 (NKJV)

Electric Light written by Sandy Isenstadt and has been published by MIT Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2018-09-25 with Architecture categories.

How electric light created new spaces that transformed the built environment and the perception of modern architecture. In this book, Sandy Isenstadt examines electric light as a form of architecture—as a new, uniquely modern kind of building material. Electric light was more than just a novel way of brightening a room or illuminating a streetscape; it brought with it new ways of perceiving and experiencing space itself. If modernity can be characterized by rapid, incessant change, and modernism as the creative response to such change, Isenstadt argues, then electricity—instantaneous, malleable, ubiquitous, evanescent—is modernity's medium. Isenstadt shows how the introduction of electric lighting at the end of the nineteenth century created new architectural spaces that altered and sometimes eclipsed previously existing spaces. He constructs an architectural history of these new spaces through five examples, ranging from the tangible miracle of the light switch to the immaterial and borderless gloom of the wartime blackout. He describes what it means when an ordinary person can play God by flipping a switch; when the roving cone of automobile headlights places driver and passenger at the vertex of a luminous cavity; when lighting in factories is seen to enhance productivity; when Times Square became an emblem of illuminated commercial speech; and when the absence of electric light in a blackout produced a new type of space. In this book, the first sustained examination of the spatial effects of electric lighting, Isenstadt reconceives modernism in architecture to account for the new perceptual conditions and visual habits that followed widespread electrification.
