Author of several writings on the Druze, Jean-Marc Aractingi former Ambassador, Sovereign Grand Commander of the Supreme Arab Masonic Council, lived his adolescence in the Druze mountain of Lebanon. He thus had the opportunity to get to know this community well through its religion and customs. But it is above all that he was among the few people to have had the privilege of possessing a copy of the original Arabic version of their sacred writings. This is how he was able, through his readings and research, to establish an analogy between their rituals and their symbolism with those of the high Masonic ranks, such as for example the symbolism of colors. This allowed him to recognize the mysterious representation of the Divinity through the color attributed to each "Minister" in hierarchical order. This book makes us discover, at the dawn of the announcement by the Druze of the advent at the beginning of the 21st century of their Messiah, this religion very rich in esotericism and which is at the crossroads of the mystics of all nations.Authors biography: Jean-Marc ARACTINGI is a Doctor, Engineer and Diplomat by training.Doctor in Theology and History of Religions from International Christian University (ICU), Engineer from AgroParisTech, former PhD student in Energy at École Centrale de Paris, he is also a 3rd cycle graduate from the University of Paris I- Sorbonne, from the Center for Diplomatic and Strategic Studies in Paris and former intern at the Paris War School.Freemason (33 °, 96 °, CBCS, 7 ° RO), he was exalted Master at the Grand Lodge of France in the Orient of Paris and a corresponding member of the famous Jean Scot Erigène Research Lodge of the Grand Lodge of France. He is currently Sovereign Grand Commander of the Supreme Arab Masonic Council, World Grand Master of the Grand Orient Arab, High Dignitary of the International Sovereign Shrine of the Egyptian Rites of Memphis-Misraïm and member of the Directorate of the World Masonic Union of the 33rd degree of the AASR.Grand Cross of the Order of Saint Paul, Grand Cross and Grand Commander of the Order of Lafayette, he is also a Knight of the Order of the Temple and of the Order of Malta-Grand Priory of Russia. He is the author of several books on Freemasonry and on religious esotericism.

For the first time ever, a source from within reveals the shocking truth that the roots of the Knights Templar, and thus those of Freemasonry, were actually more deeply linked to Islam than to Christianity. The Knights Templar of the Middle East breaks new ground in this well-tilled sphere and is guaranteed to stir more fires of controversy than any other book to date on Freemasonry and Templars. Prince Michael writes with sterling scholarship, making full use of his access to libraries of the secret orders of which he is a member. The book delves deep to examine the true roots of this worldwide society, revealing both historical events from Europe to the Middle East and the author's own deeply personal, perilous journey to research and expose this hidden history. Going against the accepted history of the Freemason society as evolved from a remnant of Knights Templar who settled in Scotland, The Knights Templar of the Middle East takes readers much farther back to the true historical biblical land, based in Western Arabia rather than Palestine. The true secret of the Inner Circle of the Order of the Templars was such that, had they revealed it, the knowledge would have rocked the cradle of Christian and Judaic beliefs.

The End And The Beginning written by Hermynia Zur Mühlen and has been published by Open Book Publishers this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2010 with Biography & Autobiography categories.

First published in Germany in 1929, The End and the Beginning is a lively personal memoir of a vanished world and of a rebellious, high-spirited young woman's struggle to achieve independence. Born in 1883 into a distinguished and wealthy aristocratic family of the old Austro-Hungarian Empire, Hermynia Zur Muhlen spent much of her childhood travelling in Europe and North Africa with her diplomat father. After five years on her German husband's estate in czarist Russia she broke with both her family and her husband and set out on a precarious career as a professional writer committed to socialism. Besides translating many leading contemporary authors, notably Upton Sinclair, into German, she herself published an impressive number of politically engaged novels, detective stories, short stories, and children's fairy tales. Because of her outspoken opposition to National Socialism, she had to flee her native Austria in 1938 and seek refuge in England, where she died, virtually penniless, in 1951. This revised and corrected translation of Zur Muhlen's memoir - with extensive notes and an essay on the author by Lionel Gossman - will appeal especially to readers interested in women's history, the Central European aristocratic world that came to an end with the First World War, and the culture and politics of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Born into a distinguished aristocratic family of the old Habsburg Empire, Hermynia Zur Mühlen spent much of her childhood and early youth travelling in Europe and North Africa with her diplomat father. Never comfortable with the traditional roles women were expected to play, she broke as a young adult both with her family and, after five years on his estate in the old Czarist Russia, with her German Junker husband, and set out as an independent, free-thinking individual, earning a precarious living as a writer. She translated over 70 books from English, French and Russian into German, notably the novels of Upton Sinclair, which she turned into best-sellers in Germany; produced a series of detective novels under a pseudonym; wrote seven engaging and thought-provoking novels of her own, six of which were translated into English; contributed countless insightful short stories and articles to newspapers and magazines; and, having become a committed socialist, achieved international renown in the 1920s with her Fairy Tales for Workers' Children, which were widely translated including into Chinese and Japanese. Because of her fervent and outspoken opposition to National Socialism, she and her life-long Jewish partner, Stefan Klein, had to flee first Germany, where they had settled, and then, in 1938, her native Austria. They found refuge in England, where Zur Mühlen died, forgotten and virtually penniless, in 1951. This new, expanded edition contains: Zur Mühlen's autobiographical memoir, The End and the Beginning; The editor's detailed notes on the persons and events mentioned in the autobiography; A selection of Zur Mühlen's short stories and two fairy tales; A synopsis of Zur Mühlen's untranslated novel Our Daughters the Nazi Girls; An essay by the Editor on Zur Mühlen's life and work; A bibliography of Zur Mühlen's novels in English translation; A portfolio of selected illustrations of her work by George Grosz and Heinrich Vogeler; A free online supplement with additional original material.

Secret Sects Of Syria written by Bernhard H. Springett and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014-01-21 with Social Science categories.

First published in 2007. Secret sects are deeply rooted in the history and culture of the Middle East, and a number of them are as powerful now as they were in the times of the Crusades. In the West, the best-known organisation with connections to these ancient sects are the Freemasons, whose rituals are believed to derive from those originally practiced by the Knights Templar in the East, and later brought by them to Europe. In this classic work, Bernard Sprigett describes and analyses the symbolism, ceremonies and beliefs of these secret sects including the Sabaeans, the Gnostics and Manicheans, the followers of Simon Magus, Sufism and the Dervish Orders, the Shiite Metawileh, the Essenes, the Ismaelis, the Assassins and the Druses, and their links with and influence upon the Knights Templar and modern Freemasonry. Springett demonstrates the persistence of ancient symbolic and ritual elements in modern life and gives insight into the creeds and practices of secret sects that are active today in the Middle East and beyond.
