Understand the Complexity of the World's Greatest Monument Standing sentinel for four and a half millennia, the Great Pyramid of Giza has fascinated all who have beheld its imposing and elegant mass. In The Great Pyramid Decoded, historical theorist, researcher, and best-selling author Peter Lemesurier shares observations based on a simple numeric code which reveals illuminating perspectives on the past as well as prophetic visions of the future. Does the Great Pyramid hearken back to another civilization much older than ancient Egypt? Is it the Old Testament writ in stone? Is it an ancient observatory? A treasure house? A tomb? Is there a message in the geometric ratios? Lemesurier carefully explores these theories and draws some enlightening and meaningful conclusions. Translating the wisdom of this ancient monument, the author presents recommendations for the future which are consistent with the advice of Saint Malachy, Nostradamus, and Edgar Cayce, among others. Making connections to several religious traditions, Lemesurier uses the Great Pyramid to illustrate humankind's place in the universe. Read what this archaic wonder of the world has to say about where we came from and where we may be heading. Learn how this one ancient wonder can teach us that we have the potential to reawaken to an enlightened path forward. A must for anyone interested in the mystical wisdom of one of the most magnificent civil engineering feats of all time.

The story of the Pyramids of Giza begins long before the massive limestone structures rose on the western edge of the Nile. To understand their origins, one must look back to the early burial traditions of ancient Egypt, where the desire to honor and protect the dead laid the foundation for increasingly complex funerary architecture. In the earliest periods, Egypt's elite were buried in simple rectangular tombs called mastabas, built from mudbrick and later stone. These low, flat structures served as a prototype for more ambitious designs that would come to define ancient Egypt’s monumental legacy. As the Egyptian state grew more centralized during the Early Dynastic Period and into the Old Kingdom, the architectural evolution of tombs became a symbol of royal power and divine authority. The concept of the king as a god on earth demanded a burial structure that reflected his eternal status. This shift led to the experimentation with stepped designs, culminating in the Step Pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara, designed by the architect Imhotep during the Third Dynasty. This innovation marked the beginning of the pyramid as a distinct architectural form and demonstrated a newfound mastery of stone construction. With each successive generation, the ambition behind royal tombs expanded. The transition from stepped to smooth-sided pyramids represented not just an aesthetic shift but a symbolic one, intended to reflect the pharaoh's journey to the heavens. By the time the Fourth Dynasty began, kings such as Sneferu pioneered structural advancements, including multiple attempts at pyramid design that culminated in the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid. These efforts set the stage for the apex of pyramid construction: the Pyramids of Giza.

• Analyzes ancient Coptic-Egyptian texts and evidence from astronomy and archaeology to show how the Big Void may be a grand “Hall of Ancestors” • Explores the controversy surrounding the discovery of the Big Void and debunks many of the theories regarding the purpose of this massive new “chamber” • Reveals how the Great Pyramid was built by Khufu as an indestructible “recovery vault” to help Egyptian civilization rebuild after an anticipated cataclysm In November 2017, an international team of more than 30 scientists published the results of their two-year-long Great Pyramid research project in the journal Nature. Using an advanced imaging technique known as muon radiography, three groups working independently from each other discovered a massive, previously unknown space within the Great Pyramid of Giza. Mainstream Egyptologists suggest that the “Big Void” is simply a stress-relieving device for the Grand Gallery. But, as Scott Creighton reveals, ancient Coptic-Egyptian texts describe exactly what the Big Void is. Exploring the controversy surrounding the Big Void, Creighton artfully debunks many of the theories about the purpose of this massive chamber as well as other long-held Egyptology beliefs. Analyzing the Coptic-Egyptian texts and evidence from astronomy, archaeology, and other sources, the author reveals how the Great Pyramid was built by Khufu as an indestructible recovery vault to help Egyptian civilization rebuild after a cataclysmic natural disaster--a rapid pole shift and subsequent deluge--predicted by his astronomer-priests. And the key component of the recovery vault would have been the Hall of the Ancestors, a sealed safe haven containing the mummified remains of the Osiris Kings, deceased pharaohs who would seek the benevolence of the gods to ensure Egypt’s recovery from the disaster.

The most remarkable piece of ground in the World as Flinders Petrie described the Giza Plateau. Here the Pyramid Complexes of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure have stood for 4,600 years. The Giza pyramids have been scientifically studied for the last 300 years; now for the first time all three are brought together in one book. Virtually all contemporary "pyramid" books address only Khufu's Great Pyramid. This book provides a complete detailed look at all three Giza pyramids and their complexes: the Sphinx, subsidiary pyramids, temples, boat pits, and enclosures. The descriptions are supplemented by almost 300 photos and drawings to provide the reader a detail look which can only be surpassed by being there in person with a very knowledgeable guide. But it is not just descriptions as the complexes are today, but how the early explorers entered the pyramids and what they found. In addition Charles Rigano provides new ideas on: * How Khufu was interred in his Great Pyramid. * How the first robbers gained entry and robbed Khufu's pyramid. * How Caliph Al Mamun in 820AD really penetrated the Great Pyramid. * Why Heterpheres "tomb" is at Giza. * Why there is a field of stone bases near Khafre's Pyramid. * The initial smaller plan for Khafre's Pyramid. * Conclusive evidence that ties the Sphinx to Khafre. * How Menkaure's Burial Chamber and Inclined Passage were built. In this book Charles Rigano combines both his on-site examinations and study of more than 200 references from the early explorers to the recent Egyptologists to form a complete picture of the Pyramid Complexes. This material is available nowhere else in a single volume.

The signs of Egyptian hieroglyphic writing are pictograms, i.e. images that represent beings and objects of reality. The main characteristic of pictograms is their iconicity. An icon conveys meaning through the image, which distinctly refers to a real referent by depicting several of its defining features. This volume focuses on semograms, which are lexical or semantic pictograms, meaning the image itself participates directly in the encoding of the linguistic message. The Pyramid Texts of the late 3rd millennium BCE constitute the oldest corpus of funerary texts in Egyptian and human history. Their semograms iconically reflect cultural realities of Old Kingdom Egypt and perhaps earlier. The studies you will find in this book are devoted to the dialectics between text, sign, iconicity, and referential reality.
