Praise for the believer can sometimes become mundane words that just fill space until there is another part of the church service. However, Gary Swindell Jr. has developed a tool in "The Language of Praise" that introduces a critical new view of how we honor the Lord. Within 21 days the reader is able to discover revelation behind some of their favorite words used to give honor to God. With a praise word, and a truth being released every day for 21 days it's impossible for lives not to be impacted and filled by the presence of the Lord. Gary Swindell Jr. has captured information that is applicable to believers no matter where they are in their walk, from the new convert to the established church goer, from the youth in the children's department, to the well seasoned pastor. This devotional puts the reader on a consistent path of daily revelation of who the father is, and what he's been consistently doing in their lives. Praise allows us to actively see and participate in God's actions on earth with great joy and reverence. The Language of Praise opens the door for that participation, and will surely be used as a reference for believers time and time again.

What is true praise? Author Gerald Clerie believes true praise is the result of genuine redemption through the shed blood of God's perfect Lamb, the Lord Jesus Christ. The foundation for this study is the 103rd Psalm. Clerie uses the first half of that model song of praise to show how David felt impelled to praise his God, what he meant by blessing the Lord, and why it was so important for him to engage his faculties, senses, and sentiments in extolling the Lord. At the very core of praise is the memorial building process, and for today's believer, that process must culminate in the sacrifice of the Lamb of God as portrayed and immortalized for the Church in the Lord's Supper. Continuing in the 103rd Psalm, Clerie reviews with David the benefits of redemption, touching on the value and immutability of God's marvelous promises, the mystery of divine election, and introducing the believer in Christ to his privileges and the purpose of God for him in choosing and calling him to Himself. Join author Gerald Clerie in this insightful study of God's Word and learn to speak Praise: The Language of Redemption.

The Victorian Jesuit Gerard Manley Hopkins found in religious discipline, and released in his poetry, the tremendous power at the heart of human language. In Created to Praise, Margaret Ellsberg traces the poet's development, arguing that Hopkins's use of a specifically sacramental ideal of language, a poetic diction that celebrates particularity in nature, allows the poet/priest to unite the vocabularies of both vocations and achieve a voice perfectly pitched at praise.

God's greatest desire and greatest need is relationship and that is why man was created in the image and likeness of God. We were created to live in God's presence at all times. A life outside of His presence ends in misery; it becomes a meaningless, hopeless and fruitless life. A life outside of God's presence is vulnerable to satanic attack and manipulations. That is why praise should be a lifestyle. Every believer needs an understanding of how praise works. Praise is a mystery. Mystery may not make sense but they make proofs, and it is Proofs that validates the authenticity of any mystery. One thing about mystery is that it guarantees mastery in life. Praise also guarantees the fulfillment of prophecies. Our destiny is packages in prophecies and for such prophecies to be fulfilled, we need an understanding of what praise is. The bible says my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Ignorance is a killer. Praise is superior to prayer because when prayer places demand, praise takes delivery. Praise will simply handle what prayer cannot handle. Praise is the gate fee to the presence of God. Praise, worship and thanksgiving is God's language while murmuring and complaining is the devil's language. Our authority to rule in the midst our enemy is derived from praise. God is everywhere but he does not manifest everywhere, it is a lifestyle of praise that make him to manifest.
