The premise of this new devotional guide by author, experienced pastor, and radio personality Barry Young is simple: spend thirty seconds a day with God for a full year, and get ready to be overwhelmed by his goodness. When he saw the statistics on how much-or rather, how little-time believers spend with God in today's culture, Barry knew God was prompting him to create a devotional that would enable busy people to learn to love spending more time with the Father. Barry urges believers to remember that a blessed, healthy, fulfilling life is simple when you spend time every day getting to know God better. But spending half a minute a day with God isn't the endgame-it's just the starting point of a new life filled with quality time with the Creator. God urges us to "taste and see that the Lord is good" and reminds us that "blessed is the one who takes refuge in him." Barry knows that once you get a taste of the life-giving message God has for you, you'll never be satisfied, and you'll always be hungry for more...and that's the secret to an abundant life!

Just Do It written by Ira J. Acree and has been published by Life to Legacy, LLC this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2018-12-02 with Religion categories.

From the outset, this book was developed out of a sincere desire to improve the prayer culture of the church where I serve as pastor. The goal for the congregation was to unite in prayer for thirty days, praying for different circumstances each day. We started off with prayers similar to the Lord's model prayer that he gave to his disciples. Then we progressed beyond that to include interceding for institutions ranging from family to government, and from prison to the pulpit. We also prayed for change in the conditions in our schools and community. As we continued in community prayer, I soon realized that God was doing something powerful that extended far beyond the members of our congregation. Before the thirty days of prayer concluded, we had hundreds of people joining us daily on a prayer call from across the country. We then expanded the thirty days of prayer to an accompanying devotional so that the inspirational messages behind the prayers could be shared with others. Therefore, the impetus behind writing this book was to encourage people to embrace the practice of praying in community to invoke heaven's power into the affairs of God's people on earth. I therefore, challenge women, men, youth groups and churches to read this book together and pray in unison. Don't let the obstacles of distance or distraction, fear or uncertainty, dissuade you from the power of prayer--be courageous and Just Do It!

30 Days Of Purity written by Joseph Papcun and has been published by WestBow Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014 with Religion categories.

Untainted. When was the last time you though of purity in that way? For most of us, purity is something we want even when we don't know how to go about striving for it. And in a society that promotes anything but being pure, the lines quickly become blurred between the holy and the unholy. What's more disturbing is that those lines have begun to crossover into the mind-sets of Christians as well. In Thirty Days of Purity, Joseph Papcun challenges you to rediscover purity in every aspect of your spiritual life and explores how being pure in our Christianity is far more than what we take in with our eyes or what we think with our minds. Through daily devotionals and personal stories, he relates his own journey; he also reveals what the heart of the Father so desperately desires for us to know: Himself. Take the thirty-day journey out of what you know about purity and venture into the heart of God.
