This research aims at studying the leadership styles of women entrepreneurs and how it affects organizational performance. A qualitative research design using a phenomenological method was implemented. Data from five women entrepreneurs were collected through in-depth interviews. The findings highlighted the strategic importance of leadership in the organization. It was noted that organizational leaders and employees preferred aspects of the participative and democratic styles of leadership. It was also found that leaders exhibited traits of both the transactional and .transformational aspects of leadership and were adaptive in their leadership style. The findings of the study reveal that transformation in economic, cultural, and technological spheres affects the leadership styles of women entrepreneurs. The results show that organizational leaders consider financial gains as the key indicator for measuring organizational performance whereas some other secondary factors are also being highlighted such as organizational culture, innovation, technological advancements, etc. It has been recommended that women entrepreneurs use a leadership style that enhances the capabilities and abilities of the people.
