The Manger Mission: A Family Christmas Tradition is a story told through the eyes of playful, reminiscing Wise Men, now part of a family's nativity set, as they anticipate Christmas each year while reflecting on their first journey to meet Jesus. Each morning leading up to Christmas, the children in the family choose a place for the Wise Men as they journey through their home, every day moving them closer to the nativity where they can once again see baby Jesus. On Christmas morning, the children return the Wise Men to the nativity as part of their family's Christmas morning tradition.

IT’S TIME Journey with Jesus from His Manger to His Mission: the Unrecorded Years By: Charlotte Kramer Magdalene looked at Jesus and knew when she was in His presence there was something different about His character. There was a loving atmosphere that seemed to actually change the physical environment that surrounded Him. The grasses became greener, the blades became stronger, the blooms more colorful and the flowers smelled sweeter. Magdalene was caught up in an ethereal realm where she felt like she was too exquisite for the world she was in… and she was absolutely sure Jesus was too perfect for this world. She gazed at Him and she realized it was He who made her feel that way. It’s Time gives the reader a greater understanding of conflicting politics on the lips of first-century Jerusalem citizens and Jewish principles in a Roman world. This book shines new light on the Magi and their interpretation of the heavenly spheres as it pertained to the birth of Jesus and their duty to Jesus while He was a youth. It offers a broader understanding of Joseph of Arimathea and the role he played in the life of Jesus. Through this new light, the reader has a greater understanding of Jesus as a youth. The scriptures are silent on these missing years, and it is time to sift out a logical, although imaginary, life surrounding Jesus as a youth that He could have lived in the first-century world.

Advent is about beginning with the end: preparing for the final stage of God's new mission that resulted from our mission failure. For many of us, Advent is the launching pad to Christmas morning; a twenty-four-day countdown to stockings and presents. We don't think about Advent as first being about the second coming. After all, it's been two millennia since Christ was born, crucified, rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, and sent the Holy Spirit. And for two thousand years, we've been living somewhere between forgetting about or fretting over his return. John 3:16-17 gives us Christ's mission: "For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it" (1996 NLT). Jesus' silent-night arrival in the manger is the first part of that mission. His trumpet-blasting arrival in the clouds is the last part. Taking the two seasons together, Omar Rikabi shows how preparing for this kind of Advent before we celebrate Christmas is how we get in on God's rescue mission.

As the purse strings tighten company costs need to be cut without this affecting performance or sales. A common solution to this problem is to restructure the organization of the company i.e. adjust the lines and boxes on the organization chart with the aim of setting it up for high performance. This inevitably fails because an organization is a system; change one aspect and other facets will also change. Organization Design: Engaging with change looks at how to (re) design the organizational system in order to increase productivity, performance and value; providing the knowledge and methodology to design an agile organization capable of handling the kind of continuous organizational change that all businesses face. The book clarifies why and how organizations need to be in a state of readiness to design or redesign and emphasizes that people as well as business processes must be part of design considerations. Responding to developments across the world since the first edition, this book covers, among other topics: Technology changes that have impacted upon organizations Increased demands for ‘sustainability’ and corporate social responsibility The pressure on organizations to be smarter, more efficient and more effective Whilst the material on this subject targets a wide management audience, this book is specifically written for consultants, OD/HR practitioners and line managers working together to achieve the goal of organizational redesign for changing circumstances. Aided by a range of pedagogical features, this book is a must-read for students or practitioners involved in the field of organizational design, development and change.

“How Do I know What God Wants from Me?” Jesus came to earth to accomplish twenty-seven impossible missions, and He completed every one. He calls us to follow Him by pursuing four lifetime missions that enable us to bear spiritual fruit and “lay up treasures in Heaven.” He also gives us more than one hundred promises—promises that provide the foundation and building blocks for a supernatural, miracle-working faith. The Jesus Mission reveals the core discovery of the author’s life, which propelled his greatest spiritual breakthrough. This same discovery can radically transform your walk with God. Find out, by reading Jesus’ words, how He made it possible for you to live out the four lifetime missions He has given you, starting today. “…whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” —John 14:12, niv

Anglican and Reformed Approaches in India and the Near East, 1800-1938 This book aims to offer the reader access to the treasury of experience and literature resulting from nineteenth- and twentieth-century missions to Muslims. Based on the author's doctoral work completed at the University of Edinburgh, this research also grew out of the author's mission service in the Near East. This volume represents research completed under the direction of professors W. M. Watt and A. C. Cheyne. Christian Mission to Muslims will prove of good encouragement to the host of Christ's disciples living and witnessing among their Muslim neighbors. This work is consistent with the larger biblical vision granted by God through prophet, Messiah, and apostle--a vision voiced in the Abrahamic prayer and the motto of the Arabian Mission: "O that Ishmael might live in thy sight!" (Gen 17:18); in Jesus's words: "I lay down my life for the sheep. And I have other sheep that are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will heed my voice" (John 10:15-16); and in the abiding hope of Revelation 11:15: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign for ever and ever."
