Not only are Jesus and Mary perpetual Virgins, unlike Adam and Eve, Jesus was incarnate of the Holy Ghost and born of the Perpetual Virgin Mary through a miraculous, painless, supernaturally illuminated Virgin Birth. The Incarnation took place at Mary's FIAT, with Her Immaculate Heart pumping three drops of Her Roseate Blood into Her Womb, which united with the overshadowing Holy Ghost, thus the Word became Man. As Eve was made from Adam's side, so the New Adam emerged miraculously as a Great luminous Child from the New Eve. The Catholic mystics referenced include St Bridget of Sweden, St Gertrude the Great, Blessed Catherine Emmerich, Blessed Mary of Agreda, Sr Julia of Zagreb and some others. They are consistent in reporting, the painless Virgin Birth of Christ, which took place without physical access to Her natural birth canal. Our Lady was overwhelmed with great light, like the sun, while Christ emerged in a 'sudden and instantaneous' Birth from her Womb and Heart region, like a blinding Light without any physical injury or pain to Mary's Womb or Person. She levitated or was suspended in the air during the miraculous birthing, joyfully praying and praising God and experienced no pains, afterbirths nor exhaustion. Thus, the Birth of Christ did not violate the virginal integrity of She whom Isaiah says: "Before she was in labor she gave birth; before her pain came upon her she was delivered of a Son. Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things?" (Isaiah 66:7). To have labor and pain even before birthing is another way of saying that there was no natural labour and pains associated with Her birthing the Saviour. Hence, the Prophet, who earlier prophesied Mary's Virgin Birth of the Saviour (Isaiah 7:14), asks; "Who has heard/seen such a thing?" It has never happened nor will it ever happen again. One of the mystics was told by Jesus who the mother of 'the brothers of the Lord' referenced in Scriptures, really are, as Holy Writ, contrary to popular uncatholic opinions, never said they are Mary's children. Hence Pope Martin I, at the fourth Lateran Council defined the Dogma of Mary's Perpetual Virginity in 649 AD. The book which facilitates a rich Christmas/Advent refection/meditation provides a chapter on how Christmas is to be prepared for and celebrated as instructed by Jesus and Mary, and Our Lord's requested Birthday Gift. Finally it provides the Infant Jesus history and devotion in the last 2 chapters. Chapters (1-10) include The Painless Miraculous Divine Birth; The Miracle of the Joyful Virgin Birth Of Jesus; Mary's Perpetual Virginity & the Miraculous Divine Birth; The Ecstatic Divine Birth of Jesus; Early Fathers, Doctors & Popes On Mary's Painless & Miraculous Birthing Of Christ; The Spiritualized Birth of the Saviour; How Jesus Was Born through the Heart-Side of Mary & the Birth of His Glorious Reign; Jesus & Mary Teach us Christmas Preparation & Celebration; History Behind the Infant Jesus Devotion and the Prayers & Devotions to the Miraculous Infant of Prague

Some persons, boasting of being free from prejudices, take great credit to themselves for believing no miracles but those recorded in the holy Scriptures, esteeming all others as tales and fables for foolish women. But it will be well to repeat here a just remark of the learned and pious Father John Crasset, who says that the bad are as ready to deride miracles as the good are to believe them; adding, that as it is a weakness to give credit to all things, so, on the other hand, to reject miracles which come to us attested by serious and pious men, either savors of infidelity, which supposes them impossible to God, or of presumption, which refuses belief to such a class of authors.

Excerpt from The Virgin Birth of Christ: Being Lectures Delivered Under the Auspices of the Bible Teachers' Training School, New York, April, 1907 These lectures were delivered during the month of April, 1907, in the Chapel of the Fifth Avenue Presby terian Church, New York, under the auspices of the Bible Teachers' Training School of that city, and they are now published, practically as prepared for delivery, under the same auspices. The author regrets that their revision for the press had to be undertaken at a distance from facilities for checking quotations and references in his pages; but he trusts that these, if not so copious as he could wish, will be found generally correct. The papers summarised in the Appendix came into the au thor's hands in New York after his own work was com pleted, and he has made no use of them in the text. Father Luigi Gambero, internationally-known expert on early Christianity, presents a comprehensive survey of the development of Marian doctrine and devotion during the first eight centuries. Focusing on the lives and works of over thirty of the most famous Church Fathers and early Christian writers, Fr. Gambero has produced a clear and readable summary of the richness of the patristic age's theological and devotional approach to the Mother of God. The book contains numerous citations from the works of those men who developed the defining Christological and Mariological positions that have constituted the foundational doctrinal teaching of the Church. Each chapter concludes with an extended reading from the works of the patristic authors. A number of these texts have never before been published in English. The thought of the Fathers and early Christian writers continues to fascinate readers today. Their theological acuity and spiritual depth led them faithfully into the mysteries of Sacred Scripture. Their vast experience made them reliable and trustworthy witnesses to the faith of the people of God.
