This version is the one implemented by the IBM Corporation on computers running the OS/400 operating system, and is compatible with OS/400 Version 5, Release 2 and earlier. He discusses the RPG cycle only briefly, now that it is no longer considered a productive method, and has been replaced by structured programming constructs.
