Can the wounds of our past be the aching pain in our present? Emotionally neglected, abused, and later abandoned by her manipulative father, Émilie is haunted by her traumatic past well into her adult life. A series of heartbreaking betrayals cause Émilie to sink further into despair, but her inner fire never surrenders. When Émilie is diagnosed with a severe autoimmune disease, it's in this darkest moment that Émilie makes a crucial decision that alters the course of her entire life. Intense, emotional, breathtaking but unbelievably uplifting, The Naked Truth of a Healer is a nonfiction narrative about trauma, emotional pain, inconceivable betrayals, grief, forgiveness, and the unbreakable search for inner truth. Through the lens of a holistic professional, Émilie explains how unmet childhood needs bleed into adulthood, the powerful connection between our body, mind, heart, and spirit, and the odyssey toward self-love and self-worth. From the power of meditation to medicinal mindfulness psychedelics, Émilie's raw and vulnerable truth provides an inspirational and empowering message on the unstoppable power of love and the magnificent gift of our inner pharmacy. The Naked Truth of a Healer opens the conversation on the stigma surrounding mental health, the signs of malpractice in the spiritual realm, and the importance of our spiritual authority in our healing journeys. We are the masterpiece in our lives with the unmeasurable ability to change the narrative of our stories.

Saskia has identified a profound connection between subconscious fear, negative beliefs, and unexplained infertility. She has chosen to share them to inspire women who have almost given up hope. She has written this book to explain how to achieve a mind-body connection that can result in successful conception. The book explores unspoken fears related to conception, how to reverse negative thinking, how to build safety in the body, and the importance of a personal connection to your womb. The book also covers advanced techniques such as talking to your unborn baby, Saskia’s process for recovering from miscarriage (she has had three), how to share the conception journey with your partner, and the importance of motherhood as part of your larger soul’s purpose. In The Naked Truth of Unexplained Infertility, you will discover surprising stories about fears, behaviors, and attitudes that can negatively impact fertility. The book explores new territory in the fertility journey and explains the number one reason for unexplained infertility (assuming that there is no underlying physical issue). The stories show the many different ways that Saskia’s work can bring about the joy of conception for women diagnosed with unexplained infertility.

The Naked Truth written by Alys X. George and has been published by University of Chicago Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2022-01-21 with History categories.

"In the popular imagination, turn-of-the-century Vienna is a cerebral place, marked by Freud, the discovery of the unconscious, and the advent of high modernist culture. But as historian Alys George argues, this stereotype of Viennese Modernism as essentially "heady" overlooks a rich cultural history of the body in the period. Spanning 1870 to 1930, The Naked Truth is an interdisciplinary tour de force that recasts the visual, literary, and performative cultures of the era and offers an alternative genealogy of this fascinating moment in the history of the West. Starting with the Second Vienna Medical School and its innovations in anatomy and pathology, George traces an emerging culture of bodily knowledge by analyzing a variety of written and visual media, including theater and dance, and by drawing connections between scientific and artistic discourses. Paying equal attention to both low and high culture, bringing gender and class issues back to the fore, and highlighting the role of female thinkers and writers, George's book makes a signal contribution to our understanding of late nineteenth- and early twentieth-century Viennese and European culture. The Naked Truth shows us that the "inward turn" cannot be understood until it is set against the backdrop of a culture obsessed with exploring and displaying humanity in its embodied, carnal form"--

Bare Facts And Naked Truths written by George Englebretsen and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017-09-29 with Philosophy categories.

The very idea of truth as a substantial and meaningful concept has been under attack recently from advocates of New Age and postmodern theories. In this book Englebretsen defends the notions of truth and objectivity as key to the scientific view of the natural world and presents an original defence of the 'commonsense' correspondence theory of truth. Englebretsen's approach overcomes the traditional difficulties of correspondence theories of truth with providing adequate and convincing accounts of truth-bearers, truth-makers and the correspondence relation between them by taking truth-bearers to be propositions and facts as constitutive properties of the world. This accessibly written book surveys all of the major competing theories of truth (coherence, pragmatic, redundancy, semantic, deflationary, disquotational, minimalist) before formulating the new defence of the correspondence theory and then exploring the consequences of the theory for issues in epistemology and ontology. The book concludes by showing how the idea of 'propositional depth' can be used to dissolve the Liar paradoxes.
