The earliest known Neibling ancestor, Christian Nibling (b. ca. 1605), was from Dornstadt, near Ulm, Germany. He was married to Apolonia (Vetter) Schneller in 1639 in Bernstadt. She was a widow from Urspring. The immigrant ancestor, George Niebling (later spelled Neibling), son of Jacob and Anna Maria Nagel Niebling, was born 1728 at Eppingen, Germany. He emigrated on the ship Phoenix from Rotterdam. He arrived at Philadelphia, Pa. on Nov. 22, 1752. Shortly following his arrival in Pennsylvania he settled in East Vincent Twp., Chester Co., Pennsylvania. This work contains biographical sketches on over 1200 individuals in the author's direct line comprising about 230 individual families. Robert Charles Neibling is the son of Glenn Homer Neibling and Harriet Lucille Hubbart. He was born at Horton, Kansas. Early ancestors lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin, Maryland, Kansas, Illinois and elsewhere.
