This book is all about Photo Interpretation (PI). However, it's not about the esthetic qualities of photographs, nice as they may be. PI is a quantitative analysis of a photo where you measure things and do some calculations to derive all kinds of valuable information, stuff you probably didn’t realize you can get off of even the simplest photos.
