The Pastors Sandal Path relates my envisioning of God in nature. I was privileged to grow up with my sister and five brothers on a farm where our parents instilled in us the presence of God in our daily lives, as well as in the majesty of Gods nature. My early schooling took place in a one-room country school where our fantastic teacher incorporated the beauty of God and nature in the classroom and on field trips. In the upper grades, the Dominican sisters assisted my parents in laying a solid faith foundation. After graduation, I entered St. Mary of the Lake Seminary Mundelein where my faith was deepened, my love of Jesus increased, and Gods presence in nature more keenly perceived. I hope my perceptions of God in nature will help the reader to encounter God in their ordinary experiences of life.

The Real Narrow Path Into The Hidden Kingdom Of God written by Joseph Ho and has been published by Partridge Publishing Singapore this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2015-08-27 with Religion categories.

This book was birthed as a result of seeing many sincere Christians falling into heresy, myths, and fairy tales spun by irresponsible preachers who would speak anything in order to gain an audience through lies and deceit. The contents of this book are not fictional. They were all painstakingly tested and lived in order to test the doctrines learnt in the modern churches. This book is dedicated to help those who want to move in the Spirit of God, to be truly led by him and not by man-made rules and teachings, which have no power to manifest the presence of God in their walk. The author teaches how to hear from God and the main principles or laws in the kingdom of God that is true kingdom living. The author was ordained and called by God through three distinct verses given supernaturally by the Holy Spirit; these are Numbers 33:33, Job 33:33, and Ezekiel 33:33.

"Well-known educator in the church, John Westerhoff examines the Church as family and the nature and need for community. His section on alternative consciousness is excellent: 'If we can change a people's consciousness, we can change the world.' --The Living Church Living the Faith Community is an eloquent summary of all that the church is called to be, an exploration of the reasons why Christians long to be in community, and the quality of the communities they need. In this systhesis of family, story, ritual, and church, Westerhoff shows how it is possible to find identity in a "faith family" that has been formed by the story of God, both Scripture and creed. The book begins with Christians' basic need for those communities without which they cannot receive, sustain, or deepen their faith. The four essentials of religious community are a common story and memory, a common authority, common rituals, and a fulfilling common life. Successsive chapters describe with clarity and insight the narrative characters of church life, the role of worship, the importance of liturgy to Christian nurture, and the role of catechesis in forming Spirit-filled community.

A Pastor's Path: How in the World Did I Get Here? is the account of one pastor's life. It reveals the depth and despair that he and his family suffered on the journey to salvation and the call to serve God and God's people in the high calling of being a pastor. The book was written with several purposes in mind. One reason is the hope that Christian people may be able to see their pastor in a new light. He is a man who has gone through some of the same struggles as some of them have. Many pastors may have had very difficult childhoods. He may have grown up with abuse and hurts that have left a lasting effect on him. Some pastors have served in the military and have suffered both mental and physical scars that he still carries. Pastors always bear about in their memories the times he has stood by the bedside of a sick family member or a Christian family member. He never forgets the desperate cry of why from the suffering one. He does not forget holding the hand of one who is entering the door of death. Another purpose is to help others forgive wrongs that they have experienced that have robbed them of the peace God intended for them to have. From the writer's own experience, it is hoped that those who have little or no self-worth in their life will realize that God can take a nobody and make a somebody out of them. May God use these experiences of the past to be a blessing to the readers.

Weve lost our way, and God is calling us to return to Him. Every church walks a path, comprised of methods, programs, worship styles, etc. The paths our churches travel may have served us well in the past, but they are losing their effectiveness with every passing day. Christian churches in America are facing the challenge of decline, yet many cling to their current paths expecting fresh results of revival and renewal. We are deceived and need direction. God told Israel through the prophet Jeremiah, This is what the LORD says: Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, We will not walk in it (Jeremiah 6:16 NIV). Today, churches are standing at a crossroads. The Crossroads is a critical point of decision that can mean life and fruitfulness or death and extinction, depending on the choices we make today. Will we stay on the unfruitful paths, or will we seek God for the ancient paths of His choosing: Paths of Holy Spirit power and Kingdom purposes? At the crossroads, the choice must be made. The Crossroads points the way to the ancient paths of true Kingdom fruitfulness.

Bullying In The Churches written by Stephen Finlan and has been published by Wipf and Stock Publishers this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2015-06-04 with Religion categories.

Do bullies have free rein in our churches? Who are the bullies? What is scapegoating? Is it possible to practice the mercy and forgiveness demanded by Gospel ethics while also protecting people from emotional and professional damage? These are some of the questions that Stephen Finlan seeks to answer, looking for an ethic of behavior that is both spiritually valid and psychologically wise. He seeks responses to bullying that are both "wise" and "harmless" (Matt 10:16), that do not leave people helpless against the cruelty of church bullies. Bullying has become a major concern in schools and workplaces, but the church sometimes lags behind the secular workplace in its ethics.
