The Pharisees Are Coming to Jesus: Secret Believers in Israel and America reveals how the Holy Spirit is removing the scales from the eyes of Orthodox Jews, the descendants of the Pharisees who opposed Jesus 2,000 years ago. In Israel today, Orthodox and Chasidic Jews meet privately as believers in Yeshua (Jesus) during the week but return to their usual synagogues on the Sabbath, waiting for the others to be inspired by the Holy Spirit. They are replicating the first Jewish believers in Jerusalem, who met secretly to worship Yeshua but continued to visit the Temple daily. After all, why would a Jew who has found Jesus to be the Messiah leave the Judaism that Jesus practiced? After revealing this, the author goes on to explore concepts in Judaism that were suppressed by the First Century rabbis as sounding too Christian. He then identifies these Christian truths hidden in Judaism by critically reviewing the biblical teachings of world-renowned Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch, who often sounds like a Spirit-filled evangelist whose eyes have been opened. "Anthony Cardinale is a gifted journalist and author who has immersed himself for over 30 years in a move of God that is for the most part unknown to most Christians. I'm referring to a promise God made throughout the Scriptures to restore the Jewish People to Himself at a set time in history (Jeremiah 3l:33-34). Anthony is on the forefront of this revival. This, his third book, follows The Red Heifer: A Jewish Cry for Messiah, and The Revolt of Rabbi Morris Cohen." - RABBI JONATHAN BERNIS, President, Jewish Voice Ministries, International. ANTHONY CARDINALE is an award-winning Christian Zionist who began writing about Israel and the Jewish people long before discovering his own Jewish bloodlines. A member of the National Association of Scholars, he was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize three times during his years as a reporter with the Buffalo News. He has written for Messianic Times, Jewish Voice Today, Charisma and Ministries magazines, as well as the Orthodox weekly Yated Ne'eman. He also brings to his writings his dramatic touch as an award-winning playwright.

The Revolt of the Palestinian Jews describes Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s campaign to enhance the rights of Palestinian Jews at the expense of Palestinian Arabs. “Bibi”—on trial for corruption—could return to office in late 2022 only by aligning with rabid far-right religious parties that were intent on driving Palestinian Arabs out of the so-called “occupied territories.” Hoping to get the Knesset to legalize the crimes for which he was on trial, Bibi proposed a “judicial reform” plan to neuter the power of the Supreme Court to annul such a law. Soon thousands of Israelis were demonstrating for and against the reform—even coming to blows—prompting President Isaac Herzog to warn of impending civil war. Seeing Israelis bitterly divided, Hamas exploited this weakness with a surprise all-out attack on October 7, 2023. Israel is now fighting back. But will the tens of thousands of civilian casualties in Gaza someday prompt the nations to attack Israel, as prophesied in the Bible? While Netanyahu exploited divisions in Israeli society, increasing the ungodly polarization, this book predicts that God will employ a godly polarization between religious and secular Jews, forcing them to take a stand in the coming final days.

The Messianic Jewish movement today is crossing its final frontier, as the Holy Spirit is removing the scales from the eyes of Jews about Jesus of Nazareth as their Messiah. God blinded their eyes 2,000 years ago to give Gentiles an opportunity to take part in Jewish salvation. The time of the Gentiles is about to end. In this book you will meet two dozen Jews from all walks of life - rabbis, journalists, an ex-Marxist couple, a stand-up comic, an irreligious Israeli waitress, a mean old junk-yard operator - who exhibited, in their own wildly differing ways, the influence of Yeshua thus far in their lives. Anthony Cardinale, a Christian with Jewish bloodlines, has been active in the Messianic Jewish movement for more than 30 years. Among his books are The Red Heifer: A Jewish Cry for Messiah, and most recently The Pharisees Are Coming to Jesus: Secret Orthodox Believers in Israel and America. The award-winning journalist has written for the Jerusalem Post, Messianic Times, Jewish Voice Today, Charisma, and Ministries magazines. A member of the National Association of Scholars, he has taught at five colleges since completing his graduate work at Northwestern University. He also brings to his writings his dramatic touch as an award-winning playwright.

For us, Jews who grew up in Israel, Jesus and His word were never part of the conversation. Not in our school system, not in our synagogues, and not in our media. Nor do we have easy access to the New Testament. Jesus has been studiously avoided, and hidden from our people. Today in Israel, 99.7% of the Jewish population, reject Jesus as the Messiah. How did our country, where the gospel first took place, come to be so adamantly against it?Within Judaism over the last two millennia, any kind of spiritual message had to go through the "gate keepers," the Orthodox Jewish Rabbis. The Rabbinic Judaism of the Orthodox comes directly from the sect of the "Pharisees," whom Jesus rebuked: "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you shut off the kingdom of heaven from people; for you do not enter in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in." (Matthew 23:13)Ever since the days of Messiah, the Rabbis have set themselves in opposition to the gospel, blocking the message of Jesus from Israel. They deliberately prevent Jewish people from hearing about the free salvation offered to them in the death and resurrection of their own Jewish Messiah. They have gone to great lengths to conceal Jesus, and keep him the best kept secret in Judaism., keeping our people in spiritual darkness. But now the secret is out! After almost 2000 years, Jesus, or as we call him in Hebrew, Yeshua, can no longer be hidden from the people! Today, our ministry, ONE FOR ISRAEL, reaches Jewish and Arab Israelis exactly where they are - online. We no longer need the rabbis' permission for anything. We can go straight into the smartphones, tablets, and computers of every Israeli, sharing the saving good news of Yeshua the Messiah! In the past, the message of the gospel came to Israel from outside our borders, delivered by people who didn't understand our language, our culture, our heritage or our way of thinking. Today the messengers look very different. Now it is Jewish and Arab Israelis who are bringing the gospel back to where it started - back to our own people Israel. We can explain the gospel to our people in a way that makes sense to them, in our own native tongues of Hebrew and Arabic as only Israelis can, and help our people understand who Yeshua really is.The Orthodox rabbis in Israel operate an "anti missionary" organization called Yad L'Achim, specifically to fight against the spread of the gospel among the Jewish people. This very well-funded organization, works very closely with the Minister of Interior in the Israeli government. They seek to prevent Jewish people from leaving the confines of Rabbinic Judaism by any means necessary (not always legally), and relentlessly persecute us, the Jewish believers in Jesus in Israel. With over 90% of the names, photos and addresses of all the Messianic Jews in Israel on file, Yad L'Achim began sending a magazine called "Searching" to the homes of believers in Israel back in 2014. The magazine contains objections and refutations from Orthodox rabbis about the messiahship of Jesus, the credibility of the New Testament, and trying to ridicule and destroy the belief in Jesus. This caused several Jewish believers, even including some who had been missionaries, to deny their faith in Jesus and revert to rabbinic Judaism. Over the past five years, I decided to go over all of their magazines, books and videos, in order to answer their arguments and prove their objections false. Since 2015 we have released about 150 short videos where we share the gospel and directly refute these rabbinic objections to Jesus, New Testament and Christianity. This book is a compilation of transcripts from these videos, all in one place for your consideration. While the content of this book is based on five years of academic research, I did my best to write it in a simple, easy-to-read way, in order to keep this book as short as possible. Please SHARE links to this book!: )

One of America's foremost scholars of religion examines the tumultuous era that gave birth to the modern Judeo-Christian tradition In The Crucible of Faith, Philip Jenkins argues that much of the Judeo-Christian tradition we know today was born between 250-50 BCE, during a turbulent "Crucible Era." It was during these years that Judaism grappled with Hellenizing forces and produced new religious ideas that reflected and responded to their changing world. By the time of the fall of the Temple in 70 CE, concepts that might once have seemed bizarre became normalized-and thus passed on to Christianity and later Islam. Drawing widely on contemporary sources from outside the canonical Old and New Testaments, Jenkins reveals an era of political violence and social upheaval that ultimately gave birth to entirely new ideas about religion, the afterlife, Creation and the Fall, and the nature of God and Satan.

A multidisciplinary appraisal of the Pharisees: who they were, what they taught, and how they’ve been understood and depicted throughout history For centuries, Pharisees have been well known but little understood—due at least in part to their outsized role in the Christian imagination arising from select negative stereotypes based in part on the Gospels. Yet historians see Pharisees as respected teachers and forward-thinking innovators who helped make the Jewish tradition more adaptable to changing circumstances and more egalitarian in practice. Seeking to bridge this gap, the contributors to this volume provide a multidisciplinary appraisal of who the Pharisees actually were, what they believed and taught, and how they have been depicted throughout history. The topics explored within this authoritative resource include: the origins of the Pharisees the meaning of the name “Pharisee” Pharisaic leniency, relative to the temple priesthood, in judicial matters Pharisaic concerns for the Jewish laity Pharisaic purity practices and why they became popular the varying depictions of Pharisaic practices and beliefs in the New Testament Jesus’s relationship to the Pharisees the apostle Paul and his situation within the Pharisaic tradition the question of continuity between the Pharisaic tradition and Rabbinic Judaism the reception history of the Pharisees, including among the rabbis, the church fathers, Rashi, Maimonides, Luther, and Calvin the failures of past scholarship to deal justly with the Pharisees the representations, both positive and negative, of the Pharisees in art, film, passion plays, and Christian educational resources how Christian leaders can and should address the Pharisees in sermons and in Bible studies Following the exploration of these and other topics by a team of internationally renowned scholars, this volume concludes with an address by Pope Francis on correcting the negative stereotypes of Pharisees that have led to antisemitic prejudices and finding resources that “will positively contribute to the relationship between Jews and Christians, in view of an ever more profound and fraternal dialogue.” Contributors: Luca Angelelli, Harold W. Many Christians have told me to quit being so nit-picking and let by-gone be be-gones, that what happened in the past was then, and now is now and things have changed. But, that is not true. Christians still read from their so-called NEW testament that is full of Jew-bashing, so subliminal that most Christians overlook it. It is not my desire to claim Christianity is wrong and that you should not believe in your god but I want people to think. Perhaps what you have been led to believe is wrong? Think Why is it wrong for a Christian to deny the divinity of Jesus yet why do Christians turn their blind eye to Christians Missionaries trying to convert Jews against the basic tenants of Judaism? Why is it that most all pictures of the different characters in Christianity have a sun-disk above their heads? The Church made its own spin on this calling them halos, but didnt the Church change Sabbath to Sunday, the day of the sun? Who actually wrote the Christian bible that Christians all over the world swear it? The Church admits they really dont know for sure and only guessed. Did Jesus write anything in the NEW testament, or was his thoughts written by men who thought they knew? Why did it take 2,000 years before the Pope acknowledged the Christian hatred towards Jews and the need for Christians to repent? Why all of a sudden were the Church wrong and the Jews right?
