The idea of writing this poetry/devotional book was born after prayer and fasting. It was inspired by the Holy Spirit when I asked God to breathe an idea into me. Most of the poems in this book are experiences of the things I have faced, how God has lifted me up and given me strength to pull through. An intense war was going on inside me. Knowing the grace of God as I struggled to live right and hold on to my faith has turned me into a great worshiper. My faith has been shifted to another level. During writing, God was working through me, and He has transformed me in an amazing way. I pray that the Holy Spirit will minister to you as you read and that the poems will inspire, encourage, counsel, and change you.

Print Culture, Agency, and Regionality in the Hand Press Period illuminates the diverse ways that people in the British regional print trades exerted their agency through interventions in regional and national politics as well as their civic, commercial, and cultural contributions. Works printed in regional communities were a crucial part of developing narratives of local industrial, technological, and ideological progression. By moving away from understanding of print cultures outside of London as ‘provincial’, however, this book argues for a new understanding of ‘region’ as part of a network of places, emphasising opportunities for collaboration and creation that demonstrate the key role of regions within larger communities extending from the nation to the emerging sense of globality in this period. Through investigations of the men and women of the print trades outside of London, this collection casts new light on the strategies of self-representation evident in the work of regional print cultures, as well as their contributions to individual regional identities and national narratives.

Ungrateful Mammals written by Dave Eggers and has been published by ABRAMS this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017-10-17 with Art categories.

Eggers is one of the most notable writers of his generation, recognized for such bestselling and critically acclaimed books as A Hologram for the King, What Is the What, and The Circle. Before he embarked on his writing career, Eggers was classically trained as a draftsman and painter. He then spent many years as a professional illustrator and graphic designer before turning to writing full-time. More recently, in order to raise money for ScholarMatch, his college-access nonprofit, he returned to visual art, and the results have been exhibited in galleries and museums around the country. Usually involving the pairing of an animal with humorous or biblical text, the results are wry, oddly anthropomorphic tableaus that create a very entertaining and eccentric body of work from one of today’s leading culture makers.
