This is a testimony of real life, not games or movies. The majority of the people in the world don't believe in the one and only God. Then there are fewer who believe in Jesus Christ. Of that group, how many drift in and out of this commitment? How many worship with their lips, but not their hearts? My parents and relatives fell into the group of "there is no God, just nature and the natural renewal of its cycle." For me, curiosity was the thing. I had to know the beginning and end of everything step-by-step. It's the way I am built! I want every breath and every step I take to take me closer to Jesus Christ. Walk with me, and we will see how close heaven really is to us. Run away with me, and I bet we will run right into the hand of God. I have done it a couple of times! I want you to come with me! Please, it's important! Why write this testimony of life? Did I say, "Please, come along with me"? Well, we all have the happy and sad, the hard and easy, and the close to God, whether we are aware of it or not, and the far from God, which we do not understand. Just a few weeks ago, I asked my Father in heaven if I should continue to write the first testimonials each month or perhaps even reveal the deep things that have helped me through life. In the process and time of seven days, I was shown how the hidden secrets of heaven work. To me, it's funny, serious, and truthful--this simple thing connecting so many things together that have occurred in my life. I work on my testimonial stories at night. It was the hand of God that led me to do that, no doubt, and you will learn that a little later. There are always more people to give them to than I can accomplish. "Maybe I should put them in a book for everyone, Father. I don't have the time or know-how..." I felt something like a tap on the back of my head when I prayed that. I slapped my hand over my mouth, trying to take it back; at the same time, I looked behind myself to see if something had fallen off the wall. I stopped praying, took a big sigh, and went to sleep. Why did I say "too busy"? I wrestled all night with "The secrets of heaven are my Lord Jesus Christ's, but that which he gives us are ours." For there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. (Luke 12:2) I was referred to recently as the little lion that would not roar and the lost generation. Then a voice stood up for me and said, "No, this is the one who walks the dusty road." I wanted to respond, but I fell to the ground in weakness because of the awesomeness around me. I was shown the loss of mankind and told to go forth with the testimony I was given. I cry and pray with great supplication before the heavenly throne of our savior, Jesus Christ. I don't want anyone to be lost! Love in Christ, Fred

Where do you live—truly live? You may have a street address. You may think of your childhood home. But your real home, this side of heaven, is your heart. Your heart is home to your soul and your emotions as well as your thought life. Your attitudes, habits, and dreams are found there. At Home in Your Heart: Inviting Christ into Every Room is written for women of all ages, backgrounds, and stages of life. Each day in this sixty-day devotional by Carol McLeod includes an essay on the thought for the day, a heart inspection, prayer, and words from Scripture. Topics include: Is Anybody Home?; Blessed by the Begats; A Song at Midnight; Wear God Out; and many more, all offered with Carol's characteristic humor, love, and affection. If you are a Christian, Jesus lives in your heart with you, no matter what condition it’s in. If there are problems, however, He wants to clean until His hands bleed. Carol invites you to walk through the rooms of your heart to identify the issues that Christ is shining His light on. “Jesus wants to paint your heart the color of white snow,” she says. “He will gently move around priorities, set things out for the trash man, and replace every outdated attitude with His unconditional love and inexpressible joy. He can take a home that has been literally demolished by the storms of life and rebuild it into a palace fit for a king.”

House Of Echoes written by Brendan Duffy and has been published by Ballantine Books this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2015-04-14 with Fiction categories.

In this enthralling and atmospheric thriller, one young family’s dream of a better life is about to become a nightmare. Ben and Caroline Tierney and their two young boys are hoping to start over. Ben has hit a dead end with his new novel, Caroline has lost her banking job, and eight-year-old Charlie is being bullied at his Manhattan school. When Ben inherits land in the village of Swannhaven, in a remote corner of upstate New York, the Tierneys believe it’s just the break they need, and they leave behind all they know to restore a sprawling estate. But as Ben uncovers Swannhaven’s chilling secrets and Charlie ventures deeper into the surrounding forest, strange things begin to happen. The Tierneys realize that their new home isn’t the fresh start they needed . . . and that the village’s haunting saga is far from over. House of Echoes is a novel that shows how sometimes the ties that bind us are the only things that can keep us whole. Praise for House of Echoes “Warning: Brendan Duffy’s debut novel is not for scaredy-cats. If you live for heart-racing chills, this thriller—about a young family that packs up their life in Manhattan for a spot in upstate New York (that turns out to be haunted, of course)—is already calling out your name.”—Refinery29 “Already drawing comparisons to Stephen King’s The Shining, Brendan Duffy’s debut novel offers chills without sacrificing character development. But be warned: you might want to leave the lights on for this one.”—Paste “Shades of The Shining are spattered through Brendan Duffy’s debut novel—a large isolated house, a young family, nutty and somewhat supernatural goings-on—but House of Echoes grounds itself in different ways for an enjoyable read.”—USA Today “An exquisite novel . . . expertly plotted, beautifully written . . . It’s complex, deft and, once you dive in, you want to stay in this often-scary world. . . . This is a book that deserves to be savored.”—The Star-Ledger “Duffy’s debut is a riveting blend of horror and family drama. The remote location, creepy townspeople and the village’s savage history produce a harrowing tale that keeps readers quickly turning the pages. As this complex family struggles with mental illness and their child’s isolation, their redemption comes in the revelation that they can survive anything together.”—RT Book Reviews (4 1/2 stars) “House of Echoes is one of those stories where you know something bad is going to happen, but you hope it won’t. It’s one you’ll remember long after reading the last page.”—New York Journal of Books

Margaret Roach worked at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia for 15 years, serving as Editorial Director for the last 6. She first made her name in gardening, writing a classic gardening book among other things. She now has a hugely popular gardening blog, "A Way to Garden." But despite the financial and professional rewards of her job, Margaret felt unfulfilled. So she moved to her weekend house upstate in an effort to lead a more authentic life by connecting with her garden and with nature. The memoir she wrote about this journey is funny, quirky, humble--and uplifting--an Eat, Pray, Love without the travel-and allows readers to live out the fantasy of quitting the rat race and getting away from it all.
