Secrets of the Serpent: In Search of the Sacred Past by Philip Gardiner Across time and across the world, an ancient serpent cult once dominated mankind. Then a great battle ensued and Christianity stamped it's authority on the face of the planet. Now, after years of research, the real religious history of the world can be told. In Secrets of the Serpent, Philip Gardiner for the first time reveals the world's most mysterious places were once sacred to the Serpent Cult. The history and mythology of the so-called reptilian agenda and alien visitation in ancient times now has a solid opponent - giving answers for the many symbols and myths often confused by those who believe in such things. In Secrets of the Serpent, the author reveals the real "bloodline" spoken of by Dan Brown in the Da Vinci Code- it was in fact a serpent bloodline. Philip Gardiner is the international best selling author of The Shining Ones, The Serpent Grail, Gnosis: The Secret of Solomon's Temple Revealed and Proof - Does God Exist? He has appeared on hundreds of radio and television programs worldwide speaking on religion and propaganda. He has infiltrated various secret societies and been initiated into Orders many people had thought were long forgotten. Committed to the constant struggle to uncover the real history of mankind and the unraveling of manipulative propaganda, he has come up against many obstacles and yet in his book, The Serpent Grail he reveals a truth about the Holy Grail that gained the backing of academia and scholars. The truth shall be found in the Secrets of the Serpent

Mountairy Rock... ...a modern city with an ancient soul. A city where goliath trees dwarf the skyscrapers, hidden packs of werewolves roam the rooftops, covert witches practice their crafts and a leviathan of a Demon secretly builds its own army of crazed worshipers. Life had finally started to come together for Max Madigan. This was going to be the year that would see him finally earn his Doctorate, start his career and hopefully kick his long dormant love life back into gear. But as the New Year starts there's a grisly massacre at Haley Museum. In the after math Max stumbles across the Stone At first glance the small engraved stone seemed to be nothing more than a bit of debris from the night's violence. Yet the path that his life had been traveling down has been irrevocably changed just by picking it up and the cult responsible for the murders now knows that it's in his possession. Their members are crazed, maniacal and in some cases; serpent eyed and fang toothed. Fortunately the mysterious Stone seems to be in tune with his peril. It fills him with its power granting him the incredible strength, speed, and heightened senses of a feral animal. The mystical energy is just enough to keep Max half a step ahead of the cult. But the Stones power attracts an ever mounting gallery of rogues who could be enemy or ally; A flame haired vixen from an isolated section of Mountairy Rock and a mercurial witch have taken a keen interest in both the Stone and Max himself. They serve as guides to the side of Mountairy Rock that he's never seen. They warn him of its dangers, of the Serpent Cult... and of the Demon. Though it's the members of the Cult that will fight, kill, and die if necessary in their worship, Max must eventually deal with the Demon that is intent on possessing the Stone. Beset on all sides by danger, the stage is set for the ultimate face-off between the Demon and an exhausted and beaten Max in the back alleys of Mountairy Rock.

THIS work, which is based upon papers read before the Royal Asiatic Society in 1901, was, at first, intended to refer only to Indian Serpent-worship. It was soon found, however, that the Serpent-worship of India did not originate in that country, but was, in fact, a branch of the worship of the Sun and the Serpent, which was once well-nigh universal. It became evident, therefore, that a history of the Indian cult would go far to explain the nature and origin of serpent-worship, in other countries and in other times. It will be seen that some of the views, expressed in this volume, differ from those which have been held by some Oriental scholars of great eminence. These views, however, have not been put forward without due consideration. They are the result of much reflection, observation, and inquiry, combined with a careful study of local tradition and folklore. For this, a long residence in India, and an intimate acquaintance with the people, afforded many facilities.
